how is that relevant to the discussion about protests and the women's march? that's off topic

I guess since you're not able to support your arguments, you've just gone into troll mode. You might want to go make friends with the deplorables next forum over - you will need an advocate soon enough.

well, i certainly started to support my arguments but i kept getting told that i was off topic. i'm just adhering to that to the best of my ability. i'm a stickler for the rules. i'm all for law and order

Isn't the idea behind minority scholarships that minorities have LESS educational opportunities and this is a chance to help level the field a bit?

~230 inauguration rioters to be charged with felony rioting.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said the offense is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. The office said most of those arrested will be released without having to post bail and must return to court in February.

how do they have less educational opportunities? they don't need race/gender-specific scholarships to get them into school. they can get loans like everyone else. no one is stopping them from going to college

It might have been a tactical mistake to have left the jail. Regardless, if folks stick together and practice Jail Solidarity, nobody is going to be doing 10 years. They could all walk.

I'm sure Ashley Judd screaming about wanting free tampons is totally going to get all those factory workers and plumbers and such in Michigan and Pennsylvania totally back on board the Dem train.

As far as I can tell the left is fully prepared to double down on everything that gave us a President Trump in the first place. Namely the over the top, obsessive fixation on identity politics and the victimhood Olympics.

Boston was amazing. Awesome, full day with music, hilarious signs, and overwhelming show of support for women, liberal causes, and America. Great atmosphere, including respectful police and America the Beautiful and National Anthem playing from church bells as we've marched. I've never seen close to that many people in any public activity before - absolutely unreal. Best I've felt since the election and I'm proud to have been a part of it.

At least he's being honest. Uppity women and minorities are exactly why Cotton voted for Trump.

Yep I agree.

Or... just maybe... non-bat****-crazy suburban olds can pull their head out of their ass and realize that "Burn it all Down" is not really what they want. Barring that, they will die off soon.

Pandering exclusively to pissed-off rust-belters who formerly voted (D), when they make up like .1% of the 62 million that voted Trump, seems like a losing game.

this is what an uninformed faux-legal opinion looks like when you only get your news from fox. it sounds just smart enough if you regurgitate it to anyone who isn't paying attention, but is clearly stupid if you are speaking to anyone who has followed the evolution of roe.

Fortunately Trump has stepped up to the plate by appointing a very capable lad to head the department tasked with controlling the flow of opiates into the hands of the poor white drug addicts you care so much for. Surely this department will take its role seriously and work to combat this problem much more aggressively than in the past.

What kind of idiocy is this? If something doesn't appeal to factory workers and plumbers, Dems need to give it up? I personally heard that a lot of women vote in elections too but idk, maybe that's a made-up alternative fact.

The party that ran on identity politics won the most recent election, dude.

Love it when Republicans give us free strategy advice! Will file it under my "Very Good Advice" folder right next to my copy of Phil Helmuth's starting hand charts.

Since Presidents cannot be recalled by a vote of the public, the only thing anyone wanting an actual resistance can do is to lobby for a recall vote of their senator/congress critter if that critter refuses to bring articles of impeachment for the many crimes Trump has already committed in office.

Until this movement goes in that direction, I'm sorry, I don't take it seriously at all. Power is the only thing that matters in politics, and the resistance has no power.
