I feel like Trump would be totally cool with a socialist dictator, as long as he's the oppressive authoritarian type. Makes that post really odd indeed.

Seems unlikely he's a fan of Venezuela--at the least they definitely hate him.

I'm going to DC with a bunch of people from the local Indivisible group to do a sit-in against RepubliCare July 19th. Check with your local Indivisible office--they're covering expenses and transportation and they have civil disobedience training to go through beforehand.

I don't support a boycott of Israel. (though perhaps products from Israeli companies in the occupied territory. )

But, this bill criminalizing boycott is disgusting and is being pushed by democrats. I will be calling my democratic rep and senators on this.

So far it sounds like they're taking it seriously. Pretty much everything is being banned from the Common tomorrow. No sticks, no bottles, no backpacks, nothing. You can enter with the clothes on your back and that's about it.
