It's really not a serious issue, it's just what gets some people riled up who are incapable of thinking about it logically. Personally, I don't see the problem with euthanizing babies shortly after they are born if both parents realize it is too much responsibility. It really is not any different than an abortion other than an illogical emotional aspect that humans add to the equation.

Not to mention that the survival of the human species is now dependent on reducing our population not increasing it.

In Canada circumcision is not covered by any provincial health insurance plan. A Canadian survey from 2006 reports that 31.9% of newborns are circumcised.

I 100% support making optional procedures like this ineligible for insurance.

Even though I only read the first 20 posts or so, I'm going to give an opinion that I know now one gave here before, and is sure to spur some flaming from the usual flamers & trolls. I probably won't respond.

I agree parents shouldn't circumcize babies at birth. But making kids wait until they're 18 or whatever to decide they want a circumcision is ridiculous, too.

IMO, a child age 2 should be allowed to consent to being circumcized.

That pisses me off too. Especially since people in Costa Rica need food more than than the people food stamps!!! Plus the people in Costa Rica actually try to work for a living!!!
