That's like peak Bill O'Reilly. Invites a guy on to talk about drug legalization and ends up screaming that only he cares about drunk drivers mowing down pedestrians because "libertine-ism" made 37 million people addicted to drugs.

Goes away with a nice retirement package I bet.

I've posted this here before, but it seems appropriate for today: a podcast review of BillO's nonfiction thriller in which Bill O'Reilly Mary Sue's himself as a former CNN anchor who seeks murderous revenge on other news anchors. He also Mary Sues himself as a gritty Irish cop pursuing the bad guy (a double Mary Sue!), describes sex in really baffling ways, and paints an interesting picture of inner-city drug gangs.

It's long, but these guys are well worth a listen.

It's so surreal that there is literally no tweet that I'd dismiss as impossibly fake without checking.

Yeah I mean that tweet seems kind of tame by comparison to some of Trump's real tweets.

Considering the circumstances surrounding the departures of Ailes and O'Reilly, doesn't the term "consistent commitment" to trust and respect in the workplace seem a touch delusional. The only consistent commitment I've seen is to ratings, revenue and a sprinkling of bull**** in just about everything they do.

I hear A Current Affair is hiring.

"It is tremendously disheartening that we part ways due to completely unfounded claims."

Why "unfounded"? Why not "untrue". I'm not a lawyer but I assume that if a claim was later proved true he could be sued for defamation. Using the word "unfounded" eliminates that risk (while still appearing to most people that he was denying the charges). But it would rarely be something an actually innocent percent would worry about.

Pretty sure you just answered your own question.

**** it, I'll do it live!

Gonna turn on the 8 o clock program on faux to see if they mention this or if they are just going to act like a dude who had a show for 20 years never existed.

Just calling it "the factor" now.

That's more than I was expecting.

Dana Perino is attractive. Can't imagine she wasn't harassed at some point in that crypt of slimy, creepy olds.

Love to see O'Reilly's downfall, though we do have a moron in the Whitehouse and weakening of democracy in the US and around the world thanks to this moran and others like him.

It only took one generation to go from Wally George on cable access to the president appearing the Alex Jones show.

GOLD still being shilled on fox. Followed by a commercial featuring Tim Allen's sidekick from Tool Time. I guess the olds love that guy. Only two commercials and then back to the show. Ouch!

Conversation I just had about this:

US Person #1: Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson better watch out now.
Me: Huh?
US Person #1: I mean they came for Bill O, so I guess those guys are next.
Me: What are you talking about? O'Reilly is guilty. He's on tape, there are many women, there were $13 million in payouts. Plus, the other guys have been on Fox for years without being womanizers, and that might be why nobody came for them.
US Person #1: I know he did it in the past, but he repented and changed. These newer charges are bogus. It's just the media and the left trying to take him down...and they won.

Let me say goodbye to everyone now, just in case this post doubles as my suicide note.

Make sure you take US Person #1 out with you if you do it.

Speaking of, when is his "Killing Bill O'Reilly" book coming out?
