Hell this is fun.

50ish year old white guy. Married to a doctor, stays home and does not work. Constantly complains about lazy minorities and posts right wing nonsense to Facebook. Calls anyone not all aboard the Trump train a snowflake. Of course, can't handle criticism of any kind without a total meltdown. Absolutely orgasmic about the thought of pissing off liberals. Tried and failed to get a job as a cop, then somehow worked as a "volunteer" at the police department for a while, then applied again and got denied again loollllll. Still bizarrely presents himself as a law enforcement authority. Trayvon Martin was no angel in case you were wondering. LOVES posting videos of angry black people protesting unarmed kids getting shot along with derogatory racist comments. Often includes "get a job" even though he is unemployed.

Would text me during the debates about how Daddy Trump was just killing it. Believes the Trump presidency is absolutely awesome and the media isn't covering it. Wants to know why they are investigating Trump instead of her emails. I don't even try with this clown.

More recently, argued Trump would be good for poker on his message board, then deleted the posts the clowned him for making such a dumb claim. Votes straight Republican, has the intellectual curiosity of a squirrel, will never question anything.

All I got as a rural midwesterner are lol olds who incredibly nearly all of them are massive narcissists (people complain about the millenials but those olds are all of the worst on that front I've ever dealt with) so they don't get what's wrong at all because they would all do the same thing (and most of them are just as stupid as trump is, it's a trait of narcs), a trucker who listens to nothing but conservative radio all day so he's always angry, every single day, and is so stupid he doesn't get that he could not be angry every day turning the damn thing off and people have pointed that out to him and who is so bad with money literally do the opposite of what he says is the best investment strategy ever, the biggest douchebag ever, and a few people that would probably fit in just fine in KKK meetings.

As rural midwestern standards go, I'm in a liberal area but still, bleh.

Sidenote, how are the majority of people I've met who had to grow up in war or just after it massive narcissists? Seems incredible with that and also their parents would've been through a depression. Maybe that's what happens when you get everything ever in life after adulthood. Must be nice.

I've got a different one.

Gender: Male.
Age: 47
Occupation: Currently not working actor, does some motivational speaking
Marital Status: single
Education: Unsure, thinking not much college
Ethnic Heritage: white
Political Affiliation: ???
Religion: hippie spiritual
Misc: Had a recurring role for a few years on a popular TV show. I recognized him but couldn't figure out where until he told me. Hasn't worked in a while, talks a lot about redoubling his efforts and focus.

He's a super nice guy who has a lot of empathy for others. He also seems to give really good advice with women. I get the feeling he's a pretty big womanizer, but in a nice guy way.

The weird thing is he seems to be in it for the sheer "Ride the wave. Something big is coming. I can feel it and I want to be out in front of it." factor. He also thinks Cernovich is some kind of master persuader genius. Like he literally thinks Cernovich is the smartest person on the internet. He says he doesn't care about the politics side as much. Not sure about that - could be just because he knows he's talking to a room full of libtards.

I get how being an actor, confidence is everything. If you don't know you're gonna nail the audition - obviously that's going to come out and torpedo you. So I can see him fall for all that master-persuader bull**** if he thinks he can somehow harness its awesome power to to get roles. (One reason I like being a computer programmer - your code either works or it doesn't - no matter how confidently you type it in.)

So I've been trying to give him benefit of the doubt. But I'm struggling with this Cernovich thing, which I just learned recently.

Gender: male
Ages: late 50s
Occupation: owns very successful construction company
Race: extra white
Education: high school
Party affiliation: virulently republican

This guy is a regular at my poker game, actually very affable and friendly until he's drunk or until Obama or clinton is mentioned. Shared ten FB articles a day in the run up to election about how awful obama (o blame ya) clinton (****on) or any other dem is mentioned. Not super mad about Bernie oddly, which is not uncommon in trump country California (in fact usually when Bernie comes up its a what about clinton fixing the primary against Bernie).

Since the election his ire has shifted away from the obamas and Hillary and to snowflakes and libtards. Shares lots of articles about running over protesters or what about clinton rebukes to criticisms of trump. Politics aside he's a pretty likable guy and makes money hand over fist with his company fwiw

white + Male + over 40 + in construction + owns a small business = Almost certainly a Trumpkin or at least sympathetic

zikzak and I are probably the only two exceptions in the country.

I know somebody that's close to that:

white + male + over 40 + in metal fabrication + owns a small business + hates Trump.

Metal fabrication counts imo. He's in the rapidly growing club.

Marital Status: divorced, now in a LTR w/child
Education: College grad, MBA

Misc: My uncle. Spoke to him recently. He is an unapologetic Islamophobe. Upon hearing about my trip to Germany, he said he wouldn't go because there were too many Muslims there (WTF). He also knew that Trump's opposition to regulating the banks and his disdain for taxes would be good for him. He wasn't completely in step with Trump on everything but felt that even if he was inexperienced that "he'd get better over time while Hillary would always be a liar". He's definitely less enthusiastic about him than before but still doesn't regret his vote.

Seems to be the kind of person who could fall away from Trump on his own if his previous actions have made him less of a fan. Used to play chess with him when I was kid. Stopped playing against me when I started beating him.

If they had business schools in the 16th century Shakespeare would have added MBAs into that line about lawyers.

Dear 75 year old, staunch Christian, never-even-got-a-parking-ticket, great family person Trump supporter,

Are you seriously willing to throw away all your 3/4 of a century core values just because of who Trump personally likes?

Please think for 5 seconds before you answer.

This entire thread makes me realize how lucky I am that I, until very recently, lived in a county that voted 57-40 for Trump, but I somehow managed to have no one in my immediate family, my extended family, or my close friends who backs Don The Con. Picked the right part of life in which to run hot, I suppose.

A woman I know posted this on Facebook today so I'll profile her.

I am so proud Trump is our president. Cant wait to vote him in again! Best thing that happened to our country!

Female
White
Single
She's about 40
Education: GED

She flat out hates Obama. Is 100% convinced he's from Kenya. Her BFF is black and that woman is convinced Obama is from Kenya as well. The cray cray is strong w/ these 2. She's a real estate broker so she makes good money. Drives a Mercedes.

Is completely oblivious about most of the stuff going on w/ Trump. Didn't even know he was out of the country but blindly supports him. Thinks Trump firing Comey is what a good businessman does. Said "You either get w/ the program or find a new job. Comey didn't get w/ the program, so he had to go."

Thinks running the Federal Government is like being the CEO of a business. Which is why Obama was terrible. He was trying to destroy America but thankfully God spoke to the voters.

The last 6 words are key IMO. Everything else they're saying are ex post facto excuses.

It really scares me that people literally got on their hands and knees and prayed to Jesus about who to vote for. It means on a subconscious level, they know Trump is a horrible person but on the other hand, he doesn't murder babies and eat their flesh like that horrible ***** Hilary.

When was the last time you were on a union construction site?
05-27-2017 , 02:30 AM
How many of those who have Trump-supporting parents have had your relationship with them weakened as a result of this election? If you have, to what extent?

Not sure how I feel about my mother supporting a President aware that he will sign a health care bill that will result in the loss of healthcare for one of my siblings and a lost opportunity for me should I go back to America.

Dunno, that doesn't happen often, but I said "owns a small business". Non-union construction labor certainly isn't universally keen on Trump around here. I'd say union labor is more pro-Trump, but still, not like the combo of construction plus small biz owner.

Yes it's really tainted our relationship, which had already suffered some due to some for other reasons. I still talk to them but less than I did previously and every new idiotic incident or policy pushes me further away. It's possible that if things continue on this trajectory with Trump and they continue to support him we will sever ties completely.

Please define what makes a white person extra white.

When you're done doing that, take a whack at defining what makes a black person extra black.

I'm extra white.

Like for real. According to my mother's recollection, I was so white that when I was born the nurse thought I needed oxygen.* Apparently, my mother recalls her being the "blackest woman she has ever seen" wrt skin tone. I suppose the nurse would be considered extra black.

Spoiler:
*I think the story is a bit of a mess to be honest with you. I thought babies short on oxygen are normally blue. But that's what I was told.

So extra white means lack of oxygen and extra black just means blackest you've ever seen.

Thanks.

Btw - I'm mixed race and while I never heard the "extra" qualifier before, I have heard many times the terms "so black" and "so white". The former almost always said by blacks to describe another who is either lazy, dishonest and/or inclined to criminality and the latter (also almost always by blacks) to describe not only a person with pale skin but also a white person who has very little experience with blacks.
05-27-2017 , 06:33 PM
Extra white or extra black would imply someone who embodies the most extreme preconceptions to an almost cartoonish degree.
