They're just trying not to make things worse and hoping for the best. But how many examples of that being a successful strategy are there?

If I could soul-read I'd say those are the eyes of a man staring into the depths of hell and planning to drag the whole world there with him.

Putin has Trump by the balls. KJU backstabbed Trump first chance he got. Beat him to the punch. Carson is far from winning the survivor game.

As an European you get to the point where you just wish Trump would be gone and Pence only ****s up the USA and leaves the EU alone.

I think Germany could even consider pulling out of NATO. The USA already moved troops to Poland so they can move the the remaining troops stationed in Germany as well. We would still be protected from Russia thanks to Poland but dont have to take up with this bs by Trump anymore. I mean my conscience is already troubled knowing that the drone strikes are overseen from an US base in Germany.

Raskin is a first term Congressman from my district. It's good to see him representing well.
07-13-2018 , 03:49 AM

Hmmm. Plus why is he chit chatting to Putin like an 80s school girl on the phone right before they are meeting in person.
07-13-2018 , 03:57 AM
that happened in March?

I'm also confused these other leaders just let Trump push them around like this. Like he's obviously bluffing, He can't unilaterally pull the U.S. Out of nato. Why doesn't anyone bother to Point that out?
Does article 5 ( attack against one ally is considered an attack against all of them) work if trump unilaterally declares he wont follow it?

The irony is that trump is right and Europe should start taking responsibility for it's own defense. Nato (at least such a usa dominated one) is not the future because the USA is not a country we want to be so close to, or so reliant on. It's going to take a very long time but trump may have hastened the end of nato in it's present form.

Trump doesn't think every trade deal we have is **** because it's ****.

It's because that **** doesn't know what a trade deal is.

To him, one side wins and another person loses and that's the opposite of a good trade deal. ****, trade making everybody better off is one of the fundamental principles of economics. Literally, it is one of Mankiw's Ten Priniciples of Economics. It's in the first chapter of his introductory economics books, "Principles of Econimcs" for ****'s sake.

I wonder if anybody close to him tried to explain what a trade deal is or if people don't have the balls to tell him that he's wrong about something.

He cannot even read a simple balance sheet. I don’t think anything related to trade deals are within his realm of comprehension at all. You are right, he thinks any deal that is not 100% only good for the US is a bad deal. He spouts trade deficit numbers like they are a scoreboard.
