It’s a feature. Not a bug.

Man it's almost like we live in a world where property is literally valued over people.

Politics has always been dirty. It's just that dirtiness often played out behind the scenes, contained a good cover story or occurred during a time where information couldn't travel far if it could at all. With social media being everywhere and everybody being watched continuously, it's hard for people to hide what they don't want the world to see. So for the first time, we're seeing how the sausage is made in the political world in real-time. The methods might be different due to the technology but the attitudes are no different now than they were in the past.

Norms are merely a front set up by politicians for the people to cover up what happens behind the scenes. Democrats cling to them to give themselves the illusion of integrity because they have shame. Republicans don't have a shame and thus have told norms to go **** themselves. This lack of shame and regard for norms allows them to act with impunity while Democrats cower behind their norms and complain how mean the Republicans are to them.

Time for Democrats to realize that clinging to norms and civility are guaranteed recipes for finishing in 2nd once again. The dirtiness of politics is there for the world to see and it's time for Democrats to get dirty and fight.
yea unfortunately this is where we're at. I feel I've been an advocate of fighting fire with fire - but maybe I have been pretty milquetoast.

Let's scorched earth these mother****ers. It's time. I don't care anymore, there's too much at stake.

It's time to give the huckabeast treatment to anyone who has associated or even hinted at association with a trump voter. I don't really care where this leads - public shame and castration is the only fate deserving of these people at this point. Before, there was MAYBE some leeway (with the help of some mental gymnastics), but I mean now you have to be a total irredeemable piece of human garbage to support this administration/the GOP any more.

First good thing my state has done in years. Scott Pruitt actively worked to destroy it before he left to do the same at the EPA.

Hmm, depending on how big his frat is, he probably undid your work by 4 or 5 times with just one fell swoop.

I know you meant 'castigation' but I mean hey, let's not box ourselves in here. Everything's on the table.

Could the bot maybe post the tweets in blocks of three or even five? I feel like that would be less annoying (and agree the bot is good in theory).

"Conservatives" are such ****ing robots and zombies. Communist, Soros, Socialism, and Pelosi can describe every issue away into neat little boxes.

I don't even debate these idiots anymore. I just shun them and ignore them. Treat them like lepers.

I see we've graduated from random capitalization to just all-caps, as befits a 70 year old moron on the internet.

Soros is very scary because he sways American politics with his avalanche of money. Did you know he spent 16.7 million on lobbying in 2017? That's a lot of money! Although not as much as $400 million, which is what the Koch brothers are planning to spend on the midterms.

Barron, can you go teach grampa how to turn his caps lock off again please? Yes I know it the 5th time this week but you can't blame him for being a bit senile. It's not like he has anything important to do.

All caps means stress. Stress increases the chances of a massive coronary. I say more caps.

The lawyer behind Florida's medical mj initiative, who has been battling the governor over the unconstitutional law which prevents people from smoking it, is now planning to push for full legalization in 2020. ONE TIME

Hold the administration accountable, not the people. The people deserve to be held accountable, but actionably it is counterproductive. I mean, even associates with a Trump voter? That’s like everyone around me man. Am I supposed to not work, not talk to neighbors? My liberal friends need to divorce their wives, disown their parents/children/siblings or else they get thrown out with the bath water? This is too extreme.

This is a prisoners dilemma with the administration, not the people themselves. If we try to actionably hold half the country responsible on that level it will be literal war
