this is a terrible example. both democrats and republicans obviously have equal opportunity to get to the voting booth on election day, there is nothing physically stopping them. the law applies equally. you can't fault republicans for the fact that they actually vote in the midterms and the democrats in this story can't even be bothered to show up for one election in the span of 8+ years. democrats do a terrible job of rallying their base and getting them to the polls, that doesn't make the law suppressive. would you say that laws against violent crime unfairly target black people because they commit more violent crime than other races according to FBI statistics?

Today I learned that if all 50 states split their electoral votes like Nebraska and Maine do, Mitt Romney would have won in 2012.

State department freezes Obama's $221 million gift to the Palestinians. We're never gonna get tired of doing so much winning. The less money going to terrorists, the better

Yes it does.

In its majestic equality, the law forbids rich and poor alike to sleep under bridges, beg in the streets and steal loaves of bread.
01-25-2017 , 05:18 PM
the law applies to everyone equally, how is that suppressive?

I dunno, it seemed like a good time to repost that tweet since 7 posts above it was somebody saying that being registered to vote in two states is no big deal.

Which I guess still makes him look like a moron but at least this time he's a correct moron.

Prove that it doesn't.

I hope Trump uses that Palestinian money to help Flint with its water crisis or to buy birth control for the women at the women's march so they don't reproduce. I think it might be forcibly earmarked for international aid though

answer my question. do laws against violent crime unfairly target black people because they commit more violent crime than other races according to FBI statistics? it's the same thing. maybe you should volunteer to help motivate people to get out the vote instead of crying about a law that affects dead and lazy republican voters just as much

Congrats on the upcoming bundle of joy.

If you're serious about leaving the country for more than just visa-free travel, you'll be in for a challenging ride. Most Americans I know who live in Europe do so as dual-citizens of America + some other EU member state. So they don't have to worry about obtaining the necessary visa paperwork and all that bull****.

You have to prove it to me. And you're a bias source. Try and find a non biased source.

Votes for fossil Trump were just protest vote against idiocy and for common sense. Just bad that Trump is here.

Violent crime stats track poverty percentages across races. The same percentage of black people who make up poor make of violent criminals.

Jobs in factories to make pies from apples?

People tend to forget that jobs in factories suck. That's why there were labor riots.

The White House site has a breakdown between EOs and Presidential Memos. Also an ominous placeholder for "Proclamations"...

The staffers named in the report include Jared Kushner, Kellyanne Conway, Sean Spicer, and Steve Bannon. Newsweek says:

The rnchq.org email address used by the Bush administration is now hosting active Trump staff email addresses, verifiable through the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). SMTP is the bridge between mail servers. The rnchq.org account is hosted by the same commercial server as it was during the Bush years—smartechcorp.net, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Trump wouldn’t be the first president to have staffers using RNC emails (which carry the domain RNCHQ.org) while also working in the White House. You may recall that under George W. Bush’s presidency, staffers including Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, and Scooter Libby, used their RNC accounts to conduct business. During inquests into Rove and Libby’s behavior, some 22 million emails were erased from those servers.

Yeah but this time collective bargaining for labor unions will be illegal, so problem solved.

I had to check to see if "Proclamations" was real or a joke. And unbelievably I found yet another currently unused category, "Prophecies"

Of course. You can basically just look at who won the House that year.

Virginia proposal to split by congressional district passed committee today. Trump would have taken 6 of 13 EVs were it in place. It's a lock veto if it even makes it that far, though.

I thought it was interesting they did it by district and not by percentage of the popular vote in Virginia.
