Germany, new beacon of democracy. France after the elections is a decent choice too.

I'm going the nomad route as of right now. Got a few more days in Cyprus.

Amsterdam is probably my favorite city in all of Europe (at least out of what I've seen). Just a matter of how to get there.

I fear by the time I get back home that America will be a burning wasteland and I'll be better off in Europe.

Bob,

You've been spending a lot of time in Spain, right? How about there? I understand there's a fair amount of regional variation, though, so where is good?

I'm thinking about a Pilgrimage to Catalonia.

If you want a similar life without the Trumpardation Canada's probably the obvious choice, then anywhere in Western Europe that you can get by linguistically. If you want to stay on the just-sane side of very right wing, then Australia.

We're about to have a newborn, so nomad is out of the question for us.

criminal action =/ violent actions. Of course I meant killings, obviously (?). Point taken though. Really sad stuff.

re: "If Chicago doesn't fix itself". Does he think these people on the street are just going to listen to him like a 10 year old listens to a principal?

This would be funnier if the DNC wasn't running GOTV operations in Chicago for this exact reason.

Anyone have a good breakdown of which of Trump's directives are executive orders (legally binding) and which are executive actions (not binding)? Seems like the reporting is mixed atm.

But what about democracy and rules, really you don't like them? I want something so I will scream and bite until I will got what I want? Is it mature? People, your jobs in factories are awaiting you.

Huge regional variations. Most 'enlightened' souls are very fond of Catalonia, Galicia, Andalucia etc but pick your spots carefully as there are many coastal resorts ruined by tourism.

Everyone 'knows' about Barcelona, but Seville is a wonderful city (but not in the heat of summer).

I wonder if the odds for a full scale revolt will show up on betting sites.

Can't wait until the Mexican Government and the Drug Cartels make a deal so the cartels cause less trouble Mexico in exchange for facilitating their ability to access the US unfettered by Mexican resources.

Obviously saying Mexico will pay for the wall is 4D chess.

I was registered in both Michigsn and Louisiana for a time. Louisiana was my second registration and they sent me a letter basically being like check a box for which one you want because you cant do both obv, which I was grateful for since it was super easy. Did the same thing when I moved across town and forwarded my mail to automatically update my registration. I was pleasantly surprised each time how easy it was.

The broken English and use of "your" in the final sentence points to hired russian provocateur, but the content of the text screams national socialism

My experience was similar in FL. I didn't even update my voter reg, once I moved I was sent a new card at my new address, didn't have to do a thing.

Getting my license changed to my new address, however, was a ****ing nightmare and I can only imagine how difficult it would be for someone with limited means. And that is by design.

You know how people have painting parties? We should do that with the wall. Could knock that sucker out in a weekend and it would only cost a few kegs. Bing bong bing.

It's scary stuff sometimes.
Drug testing for welfare is a good example. We've all seen those GOP memes saying "Congrats Florida for making drug test mandatory for those that want to mooch off the gov. tit!"

It sounds like a great idea on paper. But it costs taxpayers far more money to drug test than it does to pay for welfare.

The GOP of course doesn't tell you that part.
