If trump was MAGA for real........ he would have taken us into a severe recession immediately to start healing the heroin addict that our economy and stock market is.

Instead he is touting new stock market highs that are a result of cheap money.

The boom is the problem and the buSt is the solution. The recession is the cure. But the govt the last few years and now including trump won't let us have a recession. So the comedown is going to be so much worse.

The funny thing is if most Americans had a clue what real economics was. You could be nailing trump so hard on the things he is saying about the economy being good. Instead of this BS Russia thing.

Tough to argue with logic like that. He clearly should have just pushed the big red "Start Recession" button that all presidents have under their desk.

When trump says the market isnat all time highs I knew he was a fraud. Or got co-opted. Market is at all time highs because of all the cheap money and that's the only reason.

This is great. Normally these guys come into politics threads with detailed theories about the inherent fraudulence of fiat currencies and the dark conspiracy of central banking that will soon unleash the hellfire of inflation on us.

But not this guy. He skips the prophecies and states, contrary to all evidence, that inflationary end times are happening RIGHT NOW.

Trump 100000000000000000% knows that stock market highs that he is touting is because of cheap money and not because of him being president and what he is doing. So when he started touting this crap I started souring on trump.

Don't get me wrong tho.... I still like him there because liberals go bat**** over him being president and there is an entertainment value to that for sure. But I started to understand trump is a fraud or got compromised when he started becoming robotic about the stock market, economy, etc.

My vote for trump wasn't because I thought he would Make America great again, my vote for him was because he would make things fun as the ship continues to sink. We were past the point of no return long before trump got elected.

I think trump should always get out of bed on the left side every weekday that starts with a T. This is a surefire way to make the stock market boom.

Yeah "CEO compensation is a joke" is not really an argument. It's certainly possible that companies are systemically overpaying their CEOs but:
1) this really only hurts the shareholders of the company, if true
2) I still don't see why we should regulate some bad strategic decision a company is making
