I just finished talking to a Trump supporter who refuses to admit the bill in congress last week imposing sanctions on Russia for interfering in our elections is for interfering in our elections. He keeps insisting it's because of the Ukraine and Georgia.

Oddly enough, he said he's aware of the restrictions stopping the President from removing the sanctions, saying congress is being paranoid because Trump would never try that.

Of course, I pointed out how Trump spent the first 1 or 2 weeks in office trying hard to lift sanctions on Russia. "He was new to the job back then."

Gotta appreciate the effort...for a little while. Even full blown ******ed chimpanzees stop trying to fit square pegs into round holes after a certain amount of time.

Same reason I talk to regular people at various times of various days. 35% of them just happen to support Trump. A lower percentage actually admit it though.

With Russia issuing threats, im actually comforted by the fact that Trump is preoccupied with Twitter.

Russia/Syria are trying to set/limit the border of the Democratic Confederation of Northern Syria at the Euphrates imo. This attack was just on the west/south side of the river.

Debating Trump-loving family members is futile and will only lead to more anger and pain. An agreement by all parties to just not talk politics is definitely the best solution. If your Trump-loving family member cannot make or stick to this agreement, it is best to be calm, because your anger and frustration inspires them.

Russia has said it will treat US warplanes operating in parts of Syria where its air forces are present as "targets" amid a diplomatic row caused by the downing of a Syrian jet.

The country's defence ministry said the change in position would apply to all aircraft, including those operating as part of the US-backed coalition.

It will also suspend a hotline between Russia and the US set up to prevent mid-air collisions.

The ministry said in a statement: "All kinds of airborne vehicles, including aircraft and UAVs of the international coalition detected to the west of the Euphrates River will be tracked by the Russian SAM systems as air targets."

Also, somebody else pointed out that a lot of chocolate milk does come from brown cows so the people answering could have been smartasses too.

Our entire democracy is falling apart, right now is not the time to be meek and it's not the time to "avoid politics." We got Trump by avoiding our racist friends and relatives and pretending like their toxic attitudes were okay. It's time to stand up and shun that ****, let them know that isn't acceptable and you won't support them in any way shape or form until they get their **** together.

I fully expect Trump voters to tone-police me when I start to talk about racism and other important issues in the United States today. Don't lose the game before it even begins by tone-policing yourself! That's exactly what the fascists want.
