Look. You obviously don't understand the risk of malpractice claims in high risk surgery.

Your own article says the following

Quote:
That is a high caseload for neurosurgeons, experts say, but the seven known malpractice claims against Carson in Maryland – an average of one every five years throughout his 35-year career at Johns Hopkins – are consistent with a 2011 study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, which found roughly 20% of neurosurgeons face a malpractice claim annually.

“It’s not surprising that he’d have lawsuits against him over his career,” Anupam Jena, assistant professor of healthcare policy and medicine at the Harvard Medical School and the study’s lead author, said of the claims against Carson.
Yes. I would expect any neurosurgeon who practiced for 35 years to have a half-dozen malpractice claims. People expect miracles. And when they aren't delivered, want someone to blame. We're talking about pediatric neurosurgery. Some outcomes won't be perfect. Some may even be terrible. And you end up with malpractice claims.

The 2nd tweet is getting lots of pushback on the Internets. "Money is starting to pour in" to NATO. Where does it go? It's not like there's some sort of giant vat in the middle of their headquarters lol. The countries are supposed to increase their defense spending to 2% each. Trump's post is NOTHING BUT SHOW for his base, and they eat the performance up.

It's gonna be hard for Donald Trump to claim ignorance or no intent in all of this. He seemed to know what all the crimes were when he was accusing Hillary/Bill and Obama of committing them.

These surgeries are all extremely risky surgeries, with a low chance of (what you perceive as) "success". He may well be running ahead of expectation with the superficially unimpressive results that he has achieved. You can't just post outcomes without posting more info about how and where each set was conjoined and what the chance of a good outcome was thought to be prior to the procedure.

I'm also certain that all the parents were informed that the chance of a poor outcome and/or death was very high. They likely consented because a small chance of a normal life was preferable to a life of being the joined at the head (or whatever the case may have been).

Your conclusion "so, to me, thats not very great" is about as silly as "I like the guys who don't get captured". I get that you read a wikipedia article, but it's clear that the issue is more complicated than you realize.

The above notwithstanding, at least we can agree that Carson is an idiot. An idiot savant perhaps, but an idiot nonetheless.
^All of this

FFS Victor.

He was the DIRECTOR OF PEDIATRIC NEUROSURGERY AT JOHNS HOPKINS.

http://health.usnews.com/best-hospit...d-neurosurgery

It's currently ranked 7th in that specialty. Johns Hopkins is overall the #4 hospital in the country.

You pull up some of the most complicated surgeries ever performed and act like he is some terrible doctor. Or that he he was sued for malpractice SEVEN! times in a 35 year career like that is some smoking gun.

Would have been funnier if they used the Duck Tales theme song.

That's true.

Coalition airstrikes in Mayadeen, Syria on Thursday and Friday killed about 106 people, including about 47 children. Some of them, I assume, were beautiful.

Speaking of BILLIONS...

No tweet on how much of it is going into the coffers at Trump Tower and Mar-a-Lago.

Christie's possible connection to the letter is complicated by the fact that he'd already been canned as head of transition (November) when Kushner met with Kislyak at TrumpTower (December). Also, Trump has tried to bring him into the administration and now supposedly wants him in the war room. I suppose it's in a way even more impressive if he still has Trump's trust while rat****ing his son in law.

Why is it relevant at all if Carson was a good surgeon?

He is obviously, and by every definition, a terrible HUD lead and and overall total moron who knows very little about politics, government, sociology or economics. These are all critical knowledge for his current job, not knowing how to remove a brain tumour without turning someone into a trump.

In Italy G7 presidents, chancellor and prime ministers of France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Canada and the United Kingdom walked the streets of Taormina.

Low-energy, low-stamina Trump followed behind in a Hoveround... I mean, golfcart.

Do we know when Christie warned Trump about Flynn?

More like 39% but you're welcome, Mr. President.

The soft bigotry of low expectations. Trump is celebrating a 48% approval rating.

According to Christie here, before transition.
Quote:
"I think it's safe to say that General Flynn and I didn't see eye-to eye," Christie told reporters at a news conference in Trenton, New Jersey. "I didn't think that he was someone who would bring benefit to the President or to the administration, and I made that very clear to candidate Trump, and I made it very clear to President-elect Trump."

i dont see the problem buddy, a simple idea like this can have its place in an argument without any problems. two people can be pretty similar in their ability to see patterns, recalling stuff etc whereas two other people can be at very different levels. two people that go to a university can be very similar in their abilities to learn whereas two other people can be very different. not sure why u dont understand this tbh.

(funny video though, although i was more looking for clarification rather than appearing like a internet tough guy)

Jared: I have no recollection of the calls with Kislyak.
Us: That's not good. So you can't be sure you didn't pass on classified information or say something really bad?

Trump: I'm innocent with Russia.
Us: We believe you. Does it bother you that Jared went around everyone and set up a backchannel to Russia without telling you OR the IC?
Trump: Nobody plays me! I knew the whole time. Whoops...

The letter has to come from Bannon, no?

After all, who is now in charge of the 'war room' and back in the forefront of the power behind the throne?
05-27-2017 , 02:37 PM
War room = Priebus, Bannon & (yup, you're reading this right) Jared Kush.
