Conway: When will reporters who 'talked smack' be fired?
Quote:
"Who is cleaning house? Which one is going to be the first network to get rid of these people, the people who think things were just not true?" Conway asked on "Fox News Sunday." [...]

"Not one network person has been let go. Not one silly political analyst and pundit who talked smack all day long about Donald Trump has been let go," she added. "I'm too polite to mention their names, but they know who they are, and they are all wondering who will be the first to go. The election was three months ago. None of them have been let go."

So will Trump call the soldier who got killed a loser and say that he prefers soldiers that don't die in combat?
01-29-2017 , 03:16 PM
Yeah Clinton started this Bush expanded it and now the deportation camps are in Trump's hands. So Clinton and the Dem movement to appear as tough as Reps and alienate the liberals in the Dem party played their part.

Mandatory detention was then officially authorized by the federal government in 1996 with the enactment of the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act (AEDPA) and the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act (IIRAIRA). From 1996 to 1998, the number of immigrants in detention increased from 8,500 to 16,000[3] and by 2008 this number increased to more than 30,000.[4][5] According to the Global Detention Project, the United States possesses the largest immigration detention system in the world.[6] In 2003, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) was created under the Department of Homeland Security. ICE enforces the United States’ immigration and customs laws, uses investigative techniques to apprehend and detain those suspected of violating them, and then deports many of these individuals. The Office of Detention and Removal Operations (DRO), housed within ICE, oversees the detention and deportation of immigrants taken into custody by ICE. Currently, ICE detains immigrants in fifteen detention centers (including privatized facilities), in state and local jails, in juvenile detention centers, and in shelters.[6]
Let's learn a lesson if democracy survives. And like a lot of this Clintonian business, these were GOP bills (Bob Dole on the first) and the opposition in congress was mostly Dem.

isnt it weird how Obama has been silent for like 2 days?
01-29-2017 , 03:27 PM

No, it is troubling to me too that he has been quiet on this considering his pledge to get involved if immigrants and/or DREAM kids were threatened.

I have to say, a constitutional crisis and potential government coup were not even in the high end of the range of my worst of the worst expectations for the first year, much less the first week.

Right, I've had a go at putting together some stats. It looks kind of lame though.

I feel like people aren't freaking out enough. We've already been desensitized. The precedents set this weekend, if unchallenged end the USA as we know it.

So does Trump fan Netanyahu do a double-take when he sees no mention of Jews in Holocaust Remembrance statement?

Honestly think he needs to stay out of it or wayyyy in the background. The optics are terrible if Obama is involved in it in my opinion.

People are freaking out. It's a confused kinda panic though. They are intentionally running a chaos campaign. I keep saying this and I will keep repeating this. THIS IS AN INTENTIONAL CAMPAIGN OF CHAOS.

People keep assuming ineptitude and whatnot. No, this is a campaign to keep you confused and in a state of chaos. To keep you divided and in a state of constant panic. They are literally trying to create an alternate reality. Discredit their narrative at every opportunity. They will push agendas from both(every) side to create confusion. Then they will implement their narrative and run with it. That was what that whole inauguration crowd size was about.

Desperate situations call for desperate measures? Hopefully the lawyers and judges got this.

There are reports

that Iraq has issued a retaliatory ban. Not great for the fight against ISIS or the significant American oil interests we have there.

I posted a government official who referred to this yesterday. They said it would likely apply to US troops as well.
