A+. I'm definitely stealing, I mean plagiarising, I mean borrowing this.

How does one do strikethrough on here anyway?

This doofus is actually thinking about firing Mueller.

I would never resign; the opportunities for trolling are just too good.

Just heard this. What would happen after that?

Well, assuming the GOP won't do anything about it (they won't), it's probably the right move

Knew this was coming with the cacophony of stupid coming from Newt, Ingraham and Coulter today, they're all providing cover COINCIDENTALLY at the same time on the same day!

I mean look at how they are defending him after literally admitting he fired Comey because of the Russia investigation.

Like I'm always repeating DVaut posts here, but the fundamentally issue here is that no matter what the underlying crime here is, Republicans don't think it's wrong. They absolutely do not think it's wrong to coordinate with swoony white autocrat Putin to defeat Hillary and give them Gorsuch on the Supreme Court for the next 30 years.

That's a crime that needs to be covered up in the same sense way country club dip****s can't brag too loudly about how they cheated on their taxes. They don't think there's anything wrong with the underlying conduct!

They would be very disturbed for sure. But seriously, firing Mueller would be very scary. There's no excuse for doing it if there's no there there. But the truth is, Mueller has probably learned a heckuva lot already. Cards would come out on the table.

They have an excuse already set up to go, Mueller was somehow connected to Comey. Worked with him at some point or something.

Gregg Jarrett: Are Mueller and Comey ‘colluding’ against Trump by acting as co-special counsel?

Serious question. If this happens is it not time to contemplate forceful removal of Trump? If not, when?

Can't wait to see the leaks that come out if Mueller gets fired.

Shark bites off NC woman's arm in Bahamas

She got away, she's fine now, going to be fitted with a prosthesis...but two things stood out:

Doctors in Bahamas stopped the bleeding in her arm, but she couldn't get back to the states because of passports and customs issues. A medical evacuation company eventually agreed to pay for the flight cost to Carolinas Medical Center.

So even though an American woman's arm was bitten off in another country, Customs wouldn't let her back in until they...what? Made sure sure she was an American?

And:

"I’m just so thankful. I'm thankful to be here," Johnson said after the attack. "I'm thankful to be able to share this story and I hope, and I know, that it’s going to change people's lives because you can't hear this story and not see God in it."

What?? See God in it how? If God was there, you silly twit, why didn't he stop the shark before it bit your stupid arm off?

Bet she voted for Trump, even though she has a black husband.

My gut feeling: Mueller is toast.

If he fires Mueller there's 100% chance Trump or one of his associates is guilty of something. It's already pretty probable but come on....

Schiff is a great guy but unfortunately he is completely delusional about the current state of our Congress. He's living in a The West Wing fantasy world and he needs to snap out of it pronto.

I was flipping channels and stopped at CNN. They were going to commercial break but the scroll thing on the bottom said something like "Secret Service: There are no tapes in the White House." I don't know the context of it but it's pretty LOL if they called Trump out on on his "tapes" bull****.

If we've learned anything, its that "if (insert unthinkable scumbaggery by GOP politician here, especially Trump), Republicans will have to (insert actual consequence for the aforementioned) statements are, to this point, incorrect at a rate of 100%.

By who?

The only redress we have is to take to the streets and start threatening or doing economic damage, but the number of us willing to take that step is very small and getting smaller. There is very little actual outrage over Trump among the general population. Most of it is feigned outrage from people who aren't personally affected by any of this.

Things can get a whole lot worse before there is ever any sort of popular uprising in the US. We're all too fat, lazy and content, and we have a very exciting reality TV president keeping us entertained. Tune in tomorrow to see what happens next! Mainline CNN! F5 this thread all day! Tweets!

Baudrillard would have a blast writing about the current state of US politics.
06-12-2017 , 07:55 PM
It's possible that an independent counsel would be established and Mueller re-hired but it's not something that congress would insta-do.
