This is one of the big problems with this country. Too many people equate money to equal intelligence. Donald Trump is literally a 70 year old Kim Kardashian. He's famous for being famous and rode it to the US presidency. It doesn't mean he's intelligent. The reason NYC voted for HC 80/20 over Trump is because NY'ers have known for the past 40 years that Trump is nothing but a bull**** conman.
Yeah, no. Sorry, that's not how business works. Also, Obama won by more than HRC did. Does that mean they all thought Romney was a bigger bull**** conman than Trump? You're not making any sense.

I don't know why I'm sitting here arguing with a person who doesn't think Trump is stupid. It's clear that evidence means nothing to this person.

It has often been suggested that Republicans are better at overseeing the economy than Democrats. However, an analysis of economic performance since World War II under Democratic versus Republican presidents shows that claims that Republicans are better at managing the economy are simply not true. While the reasons are neither fully understood nor completely attributable to policy choices, data show that the economy has performed much better during Democratic administrations. Economic growth, job creation and industrial production have all been stronger.

Yes?

You're getting high on your own supply
05-19-2017 , 09:03 PM
Inso0 you have no idea how businesses work.
The husband of Chelsea Clinton lost billions betting on Greece not going bankrupt when it was so obvious to everyone else it was going too.

How many smart people lost money In 07? How many people in this forum poured money into gold and silver? Most people with money are only slightly smarter than the poors but only because of education. Then dunning kruger gets half of them anyway

As far as the rest of your post, I put as much stock in those figures and predictions as I do the ones the Obama admin cited when Obamacare was forced down our throat, and we know how that turned out. Keep your doctor! Save thousands! Affordable insurance for everyone! Yeah, right.

You know what will also lead to more crime, unemployment, and higher prices? Soft sentences for repeat criminal offenders, and massive increases in the minimum wage. It doesn't matter who's in charge. WAAF.
If only there was a field of scientific study devoted to criminality and recidivism, like something focusing on our society and the things about it that lead people to become criminals and stuff. Then maybe the people in those fields could, you know, write papers and things that explain their findings and government could implement them as well thought out policy positions.

Or we could go with the guy who developed some real estate once, and who also failed miserably at owning and running casinos. Because he says he's an expert on all that stuff.

Makes sense I guess.

Every time we cut taxes we get a recession but yeah R's are real good with the economy thing.

You are the one equating $$$ to = intelligence. There are a lot of stupid people in this world with tons of money.

Hate to break it to you son, but your Daddy is a stupid, stupid man.

The upper classes are in general more intelligent than the classes below but its not that big difference and there is plenty of variance. The ppl that think intelligence is a necessity for doing well in business are just uninformed and dumb, there are plenty of traits in life that can give you an edge: trump has an extremely tough approach to things and it takes him places, (but his personality disorder tends to drag him down it seems.)

What happened before when people who were uninsured got sick or injured? Did fairies pay for their health care?

Spoiler:
Or was it the taxpayers?

Inso, thoughts on this?

The bait is strong, but I'm going to take a pass on this derail. Sorry guys.

My only comment is that you're both doing yourselves a massive disservice by continuing to pretend that getting locked up for pot possession plays an even minor role in the problems of America's inner cities. I support legalization if for no other reason than to completely dispel this ridiculous narrative and maybe focus the attention on real problems.

theres a huge luck factor in business too, which most people try to deny or completely ignore.

I guess everyone who is successful wants to make sure everyone (including themselves) believe they deserve it

I'm not just talking about pot. In fact I didn't use the word pot or marijuana one single time in any of those posts. And you are the one who brought this issue up in this context.

2p2 ITT: Donald Trump is an idiot who has failed at everything his entire life.

Reality: Donald Trump is literally the sitting POTUS and worth billions of dollars.

2p2: Failed. At. Everything.

How do I even respond? You're right guys, this racist sexist homophobic narcissistic ****** is literally the luckiest man to ever set foot on this planet, and stumbled ass-backward into billions of dollars at the head of a company that employs tens of thousands of people and was then elected to the highest office of the most powerful country on Earth, because reasons. No, because racism. He has continued on this path for literally decades without falling victim to his own incompetence and being added to the massive pile of flash-in-the-pan failures of history. Alright, got it. I'm on board now.
05-19-2017 , 09:27 PM
Insoo ignoring all the lawsuits and bankruptcies in the wake of Trump lol
05-19-2017 , 09:27 PM
You're using Trump defenses now. "How can I be doing that badly, I'm President."
