Flynn offers to testify in exchange for Immunity
Excited to see how Trump tweets his way out of this one!

80% chance Flynn is killed by trump's mob ties or Russia before he has a chance to talk if he's really seeking immunity

Taegan Goddard Verified account
@politicalwire

FBI has not accepted Flynn’s offer, which probably means they have him in a corner.

[No link to his source, but Taegan Goddard is very credible.]

I guess "lying to Mike Pence" is more srs bizness than one would have thought.
03-30-2017 , 08:08 PM
Omg this Flynn **** just might be it. Who asks for immunity unless they are fried?

a statement tweeted Thursday, Flynn's lawyer, Robert Kelner, confirmed that discussions had taken place with the House and Senate Intelligence Committees, and said "General Flynn certainly has a story to tell, and he very much wants to tell it

https://www.google.com/amp/www.nbcne...munity-n740836

**** just got real imo

The real story here is the leaks obv..

Which is funny, because Flynn would probably still be working (with current classified intelligence) if there were no leaks.
03-30-2017 , 08:10 PM
the "very much wants to tell it" has me worried, like as if he thinks theres no way this is bad for him.

but the immunity tho...
03-30-2017 , 08:12 PM
Meh it might just be payback. Maybe he's going to tell us all Obama put him up to it lol.

While I think Flynn is dirty as hell and likely needs immunity, fact is any lawyer whose client has been the subject of as much speculation as Flynn and who knows that there was likely as least violation of the law with regard to Turkey lobbying/work would request immunity. The client may not get it, but it certainly doesn't hurt to ask.

That's why Hillary's IT requested immunity. So, it actually means something between: "There have been various allegations and I have a competent lawyer" and "I'm guilty as hell and really need me some immunity and I'll sing like a bird."

Refusing to give immunity is more interesting. It means something between "we have you nailed" to "we're chasing solid leads and maybe we can work out some kind of cooperation deal, but not immunity."

Yeah i want to get excited about this but if feels like it could be another Maddow Tax Returns thing where we get basically no info and then they turn around and say "See you got the info and there is nothing there"

Even the worst professional political strategist in the world would have told Trump to court Bernie voters. It's just common sense. Occam's razor says that has nothing to do with Russia.

article about Bannon and Kusher basically saving the job of the aide who leaked to Nunes, when McMaster wanted him out

http://www.businessinsider.com/devin...wiretap-2017-3

sorry if reposted
03-30-2017 , 08:25 PM
Yeah so if there was any doubt left, Nunes has no business investigating Trump and there's no reason for the committee to meet again as long as he's chairman

03-30-2017 , 08:25 PM
I refuse to get excited about any of this.

In terms of the 4D chess being played by Trump and the WH, let's not forget that it was his doubling-down on the "Obama wiretapping" allegation that led to the House and Senate inquiries.

At the very least, what's gone on in the house has been TERRIBLE optics for the WH and the House GOP, and the Senate inquiry may lead to some bigly bad places for Trump.

I mean it's great that you're a lag and have been running over the table, but you can't bluff every hand and showdown with Q high. You start getting called and losing big pots to middle pair.

It's so funny that Trump thinks he's a "great negotiator". It's like he's a really good at Techmo Bowl and thinks he's ready for the NFL.

Like he thought the inquiry he requested would somehow be strictly limited to Obama's alleged unauthorized snooping, lol. I mean Bannon has one gear and figures he's some kind of genius who's helping direct world-historical events, but he's just a schlub from WV who lucked into some Seinfeld money and is now dealing with **** way over his head, i.e., the complex intersection of policy, politics, and law, aka, reality.

Flynn offering info from the time when he was in Obama's administration. Will lay out all the wire-tapping details in exchange for immunity.

Translated into trumpese, of course.

Mike Flynn flipping against Obama in wire-tappping scandal. Vindication! #draintehswamp

Is Boris Epshteyn a Russian Agent?

Is Epshteyn’s departure directly linked to Trump’s exploding Russia scandal?

Consider the following.

Russia’s Federal Security Service (the FSB) often recruits Western businessmen by obtaining compromising material (“kompromat”) during tours and junkets to Russia. Russian intelligence has used this iconic recruitment technique for over fifty years.

Epshteyn worked with the Russian government in 2013 to promote investment in Russia to the American business community. His actions fit tightly with the FSB model described above.

[...]

There are unsubstantiated rumors that Epshteyn is Source E in the Steele dossier and that he entrapped Trump in the Pee Pee tape blackmail.

Name one thing Trump has done that makes common sense.

Don't give me Bernie Bros Occam's Razor ****. Trump probably thinks that's a razor that belongs a clown in a traveling circus.
