You guys need to spend more. Make it a point to buy a box of rounds every other week, maybe pool donation money from the regulars, buy a gun from the case and raffle it off occasionally.

Leaving for FL Saturday.

Someone explain the bolded to me please??

You could carry on the dry side of a titty bar, if FL has that kind of setup

I hate laws worded that way. It's so ****ing stupid.

From my CCW class in Florida, you can go into a restaurant with a bar section, but you can't go into the bar section of the restaurant while carrying. Hopefully, you don't have to walk thru the bar section to get to the restroom.

Good first post. TY.

Standard forum rules though: Post pics of gun collection.
04-19-2012 , 09:47 PM
I don't have a pic of "all" of my guns, but here's one of my latest and most fun to shoot.

04-19-2012 , 11:42 PM
You need to tacticool that out IMO.

What you got in the pistol dept?

I'm the resident GLOCK guy, NeBlis is the resident 1911 guy, General Tsao is the resident tinfoil hat survivalist.

If I forgot you, post who you are posters.

The SP2022 is my first and only firearm purchase thus far and I absolutely love it. I shot quite a few guns before settling on it. What do you think of it?

Go check gapacking.org they have links. Do you know Steven Turner from elite personal security? He does work in Fla
04-20-2012 , 04:57 PM
Yea, I found what I wanted on Georiapacking.org.

Don't think we've met.

I also read the LEO encounters forum there and reminded myself why I don't post there lol.

*sigh* there is allot of good info in those posts buried in between attention hounds going full Jiggs in the Wallmart parking lot

I do enjoy Asher's postings though.

"Look, if you're going to give me a ticket, put the gun away, otherwise you need to call for adult supervision!" and my favorite "Cop:Get on the ground or I'll shoot your ass!" "Asher: Well don't be a bitch your whole life son!"

But in general, that wierdo in the pissing match with old guard at DOL etc is just stupid.

I do appreciate people taking the time to post "I got stopped today, no issues, the cop was X with XXSO" etc.

Yeah hes banned now, just belligerent till the end. Hes 130 exempt bue to being in the military and try to start ****. In general just an annoying PITA who won't listen. As a whole GPDO gets allot done and are the main lobby behind carry laws here in GA. The get allot of that stuff done by being open and receptive and nice to people. I guess a bunch of them being lawyers helps also LDO

Yeah its mostly that kinda stuff these days.

there are a few LEOs on the board and only one of them is a douche so that helps too.
04-20-2012 , 08:27 PM
I support both GCO And GPDO financially, I just choose not to post on their BBS.

I hadn't been there in a while. I used to check the boards every time I stopped a car with a GPDO sticker on it just to see if I was the topic of a new OP.

Typically I'd **** with them, start asking about guns and **** in kind of a douchey manner, get them to admit to having a gun then smile and go "That's alright bud, I got a couple too. Tell ya what, you don't shoot me and I won't shoot you, alright?"

So what do you guys think the chances are Massad Ayoob ends up as an expert witness in the George Zimmerman trial?

That's actually the stock picture from the website. I've added a bipod, carry handle and 3-9 scope with drop compensator.

I'm not hung up on one type of gun. I love the .22's for the price to shoot.

For handgunes I have a Browning Buckmark, S&W 22A, ISSC M22 and Heritage Rough Rider all in .22, S&W 638 and Rossi .38 Special, S&W Model 19 .357, Springfield XDM and S&W 910 in 9mm, Rock Island 1911 .45, Bersa Thunder 380 and S&W Bodyguard 380.

For long guns I have the Spike's Tactical AR15 5.56, S&W M&P 15-22, Savage 30-06, Mosin Nagant M91/30 and numerous .22 rifles in lever, pump, semi and bolt.

Wow, listing it out like this makes it look a bit crazy, but fun.

can confirm this, guy i was shooting with just bought one and we shot it on saturday. also the thing was incredibly light even compared to other poly guns, i was shocked when i picked it up...i would love to own one but the ammo cost is preposterous and the gun itself isn't cheap so it won't happen, i don't want to drop $1k on a gun if i can't go blow through 500 rounds in a day with it
