I like those with my preference being the crossbreed in horsehide. Thats how I carry most days.

Although I just ordered a Garrett Fusion after trying a friend of mines for a few hours. It won't be here for a few weeks but I will let you know what I think when It gets here.

Do you have this issue with it releasing the magazine?

eazy fix, mine did that too on guns that have an extended release. Its a common issue.

just find the spot where the release hits (there is probably a little mark) you need to make a dimple in that spot so that the release does hit it.

get that area wet with a sponge or a paper towel and then press the leather out. I used a ball bearing and clamped it in a vise over night. But a shell casing or something similar will work. Does that make sense? I can get you a pic if you need.

I lurk this thread often, but I don't think I've seen this asked before.

An recommendations on a holster for running? Preferably concealed. It would be for a .380 ACP. Also, something that would be able to hold GWL + ID would be awesome.

I've tried my ankle holster under sweatpants, but it's not very comfortable, and sweatpants are obv not a good choice anytime other than the coldest months.

I don't know if I have bad luck or I run a lot in questionable places, but I've been attacked twice by large dogs, and have been threatened a few times by people. There are definitely times when I'm running and wish I were carrying, but I run a lot and would hate to be very uncomfortable all of the time.


Also, have you ever run across any fake GWLs? They seem pretty easy to fake as long as no verification happens. I know other states have actual carry licenses that are very similar to their driver's licenses with pictures, holograms, etc.

Nah, no fake carry permits that I recall.

The thing about it is that we see the probate judges signature on enough **** we'd recognize a forgery pretty quick.

This Does Not Compute IMO

Some of the stages at the IPSC World Shoot are laughable. At 2:24, he starts in a boat (unfortunately not a rocking boat, though), but under the legs of a giant statue. At 2:34, he starts carrying a bow and arrow, then drops them to shoot. At 3:37, he starts with a carboard torch velcroed to his off-hand, then has to un-velcro it before shooting. The level would probably make more sense if he was forced to hold it in his off-hand while one-handing his shots.
