How long can a shotgun sit in a cabinet without being fired/maintained and still be okay to take out and shoot? I think this one has been there for about 15 years. No visible signs anything is wrong with it. Just take it to a dealer for an inspection? Do they do that?

i think it's OK, like you said, i'd have to travel and look around at shows.

i could have gotten it without the folding stock for like $1500. the thing with FAL rifles is that if it doesn't have a folding stock you can't just swap it out and get one, the entire recoil system is different.

I personally didn't find the FAL to be that cool in CoD, certainly not cool enough to be the last rifle to unlock in multiplayer IMO.

I'm not quite sure. Learning the actual capabilities of your weapon isn't really important. How does the FAL perform in your fantasies? That's all that really matters to the average gun owner.
