Re: Politics Drunk Thread 2012
The USA channel is about to go under. I know this, because every. single. time I look at it, NCIS is on. Whenever a station dedicated all of its resources to one mediocre show, that station is about to start showing alien "documentaries" or shows about women who have the incredible ability to spit out 19 babies via artificial insemenation.
I've seen it with G4TV, before it was called G4TV. I saw it with The Learning Channel, before it became TLC. I saw it with the History Channel. I'm like ****ing Nostradamus with this ****. USA is going down.

They have it in Atlanta, if that helps any. It's only a 2.5 hour drive for me.

Re: Politics Drunk Thread 2012
Just found out that some of the lesser known members of Guns 'n Roses and that guy from Duran Duran that didn't die from AIDS had a ban(d) for a while. That's like finding a Hershey Bar in the couch cushion when you're 7. No matter how old and stale it is, you're gonna eat it when your parents aren't looking.
And my parents aren't looking.

Re: Politics Drunk Thread 2012
So I've been hanging around the politards forum for maybe 3 or 4 months now, I think. I'm also drunk, a lot (like now), so sometimes I check out the drunk thread. But man, I'm really not sure I belong in here.
Don't any of you ever enjoy the visceral pleasures of cracking a can of PBR you bought at the corner store and ignoring whatever godawful stuff is embedded in the rim while you slurp it down?
Is it appropriate to discuss the pros and cons of malt liquor brands here? How about fortified wine?
Am I the only one who has woken up next to an empty bottle of rot gut vodka in a motel room in eastern Oklahoma with the door half open, a bruised ass cheek, no memory of the past 12 hours, and a hangover so fierce that the only thing I could manage to do was stumble to the front desk and book another night?

You think you're the only one to ever come to terms with vile liquor or beer? I spent 17/18th's of my life drinking swillish alchohic beverages. In fact, I'm driinking some right now. That's not even the point. In fact, there's no point. there's no point to this thread. If you try to find the meaning, you've lost before you've even started.
See that thing in your hand? Drink it. Then type whatever come to mind. Then you have grasped the point of this thread.

Yeah, I think I get it. It's like that thing with the midgets, but without the trombone?
Cool.
I still hate you for finding Back Woods Brew before I did. It makes me feel like a n00b

I am currently eating an expensive ribeye dipped in a ranch/A-1 concoction I made myself, and if that offends your delicate sensibilities, go **** yourselves.

Just find a BevMo. BT is such a ridiculously good value, I feel kinda guilty bastardizing it with bitters and fruit, but I loves me a good Old Fashioned.

Dude, pvn drinks Carlo Rossi . You're fine. My beer of choice right now is an random grab of one of the four beers in the Costco brand case./ I guess it's not the cheapest beer, but at under $19/case, it ain't like I'm drinking nothing but the finest Belgians over here.

MD 20/20, Night train, Ripple, etc. are fortified wines. There are fancy-pants products that qualify too, but no need to discuss them imo.
One of the few things I miss about TX is Lone Star. It's a damn fine can of swill.
