My wife's brother photographed an arrest of a sibling. His phone was stomped by 2 officers. Daddy in law has some money and hired an expert to get the photos. Once they came back charges were dropped.
Details: Sibling was being loud while walking home on a sidewalk. Asked for ID, said "why," was immediately thrown to the ground, beaten and cuffed. Spent the night in jail w/ $50,000 bail (not a typo).
From what I gathered, they were trying to get him to put some clothes on. He refused, and they attempted to cuff him. He was making it difficult, so they tased him. IMO it was unnecessary.
The opening dropkick is insane. I wish this was the average American's response to police brutality, unfortunately here in the US it would have ended as a mass civilian slaughter.
