your completely twisting my words man, i think i probably agree with you 100%. when i say the people let this happen i dont mean the last couple years, but over the last 100 years or so people have become blind and dependent on government.

of course i don't think the president makes a difference. voting dont matter for ****. like i said before the government must fear the people, thats how our nation was intended to work. if you want to discuss these matters then PM me, but this is all off subject with the thread
You blamed the American people for allowing this to happen, and I am at odds with that idea. I'd have to assume you're saying that the citizenry has not done its duty through democratic action, or else your claim would not stand up.

Cops stop none of these things from happening .. at best they respond after the fact. False sense of security FTL.

I can't speak for every state, but in a good deal of states if someone comes up and says "Hey buddy, come here, let me talk to you" and you square off and shout "F*ck you!" while moving toward him in an aggressive manner, and he kicks your ass, you may or may not have legal recourse. Whether its a cop who did it or not. Look into it.

Just something to think about.
Wow you completely changed the scenario from what you quoted. He's walking down the street, someone starts trying to talk to him, and he says **** off and presumably keeps walking past. And now you have him square off, more aggressively toward him, and you changed it to **** you. Nice posting.

i wasn't just talking about the police issue alone, the police issue is just one consequence when the government gains to much power. the first time the government broke the constitution people should have **** bricks and protested, large protests, that stop daily business for days, whether its legal or not, hundreds of thousands. if that didn't work then a step further and further(non violent). same as the first time a cop got out of control, people should have **** bricks, then when he gets acquitted of all charges they shoulda **** more bricks

but we let the government keep stepping into our space and now here we are. all anyone was worried about was themselves the whole time the attitude is always "its not me so why should i be worried/get involved"

Think of a small oak tree growing in your yard(no axe or way to kill it) that you dont want in the long run but short run it isn't an inconvenience, when its small you can kill it with ease by hands, but you let it grow and 50-100 years later that will be a task to kill with no axe or anything.

i suck at analogies but yea that basically the best i can do

you twisted my words completely next time ask questions before assuming, i have absolutely no faith whatsoever in our "democratic" government

No, I mean....I've been doing this for years. That's why I'm such a balla. In fact, that may have been me in the video, you never know!

I heard that those Ron Paul people are terrorists though.

That's pretty awesome. Did you build up a resistance to pepperspray like this guy:

Edit: Nevermind, forgot the cops use actual Mace.

Just heard of this copwatching business today, watching a bunch of videos right
Awesome idea!
Here is a clip of two bright officers in the UK:

Racist ban imo.

Also, I don't fear criminals. So what you're saying is that since many people don't fear criminals, we shouldn't have police?

Am I afraid of the airplane crashing while I'm flying? Generally no. Does this show that we can remove the pilots and let random passengers control the plane?

No, and not because normal people can't fly planes, not even that it would make it less safe. (Although I think it would, but that's not the point).

You can't use the fact that people feel safe in a plane WITH pilots and argue that because of this, we might as well remove them.

In the same way you can't argue for removing the police just because most people feel safe when when we HAVE police.

This is pretty solid reasoning. However, it fails because the reason I'm not afraid of criminals, despite living in a half decent area of Philly, is not because of cops. It's because I'm on the 2nd floor of my building, which is in a fenced in area, I'm in the inner part of my condo complex so I'm not as likely to be burglarized, my door has two good locks on it, and my bedroom door has a lock on it, and on top of all of the above, I have a rifle sitting next to my bed.

Cops do not enter into my thought process at all.

edit: I just scrolled up a bit and wtf, apparently I've posted in this thread before...Who knew?
edit 2: 26 times? wtf.
