That's dumb.

You guys aren't watching the watchers. Youre just complaining when things don't go your way.

Our system is set up to ensure that no one can watch the watchers. Many of us want that changed, but many of those in power don't for some reason.

Ron Paul‘s historic Rally for the Republic took place in Minneapolis on September 2, 2008. More than 10,000 lovers of liberty gathered in the Target Center in Minneapolis across the river from the RNC convention that same day.

They don't want anyone watching anything. That way their incompetence can stay their little secret. Among each other there's this little wink-wink nudge-nudge thing where if you don't look too closely at what I'm doing I won't look your way. In the meantime we'll just spin our bull**** and the taxpayers won't know any better.

President Barack Obama trails three of the four Republican candidates in head-to-head match-ups if the election were held today, according to a new Iowa Poll.

Quote:
The Republican with the biggest lead: Ron Paul, who would defeat Obama by 7 percentage points, 49 percent to 42 percent. Rick Santorum, winner of the 2012 Iowa caucuses, leads Obama 48 percent to 44 percent. Mitt Romney, edged in the caucuses by Santorum, leads Obama 46 percent to 44 percent.

The president defeats only Newt Gingrich, 51 percent to 37 percent.

Lol. So you have no problem with a bunch of active duty generals and admirals campaigning for one candidate?

I'm pretty sure it is against the rules for active duty personnel to disrespect the Commander-in-Chief. Voting is fine. Making private donations is fine. Public measures/electioneering at the very least are frowned upon... I will ask a couple of my officer buddies what the policy is.

It wouldn't shock me in the least, though, if this is against policy for active duty soldiers.

it's certainly against the rules in the canadian military

Voting isn't over, but it looks like Romney will finish with more votes than Paul, so he "wins" Maine. Paul looks like he finished with a majority of the delegates, so come the state convention he should win a majority of the delegates to the national convention. A bad break for Paul to not pick up a win.

He should have a decent shot in Washington, Alaska, Idaho, North Dakota, Wyoming, and Hawaii. He'll need to pick up Washington and a couple more of those states to have any shot at the contests after March.

Maye he could win a state for a change if he wasn't blowing all his "campaign" funds on ultra-expensive premium foreign water products.
