If someone disagrees with something posted itt he/she can post about it.

So if someone says "Ron Paul is so cool", someone can respond with 50 posts about how he vacations to Alaska to club baby seals?
02-14-2012 , 08:21 AM
What are you expecting? A topic with only positive posts about RP?
02-14-2012 , 08:44 AM
Aren't there already plenty of Libertarian/RP websites where you guys can get RP news?

I don't know what this means.

The purpose that OP insidemanpoker created this thread is what he and I proposed in the main Dr.Paul thread -- a news only thread. Think of the main Dr.Paul thread as "New, Views, Gossip". And this thread as "News Only". The idea is so that the posters bringing the quality news content, like Fermion5, can post that news here, and the people looking for news can have a clean read here without wading through the views and gossip over there.

Posting "RP is cool" isn't news, its a view. And speculating on his strategy isn't news, that's gossip. Posting either of those ITT is trolling flat out, as they are OT from the OP. And what MrWookie is saying is that he might clean up a little around the edges here, but he ain't going to spend all his time deleting a whole buncha troll posts. In particular what MrWookie is saying is if Dr.Paul's supporters troll this thread with views and gossip, its fair game for everyone -- just like the main Dr.Paul thread.

And I'd just like to point out this is exactly the opposite of the OWS Solidarity thread. We wanted a thread where we could post news, and our own personal experiences. None of us were posting views like "OWS is cool". But even through the trolls had already overrun the main OWS thread, they insisted on overrunning the news thread too. And I'm still butthurt that the trolls were allowed to directly break forum rules, and personally insult us in that thread by calling us "dirty", and much worse.

Ron Paul Problem:

How do I win the GOP nomination...
Without winning a single state?

Ron Paul Solution:

Circumvent the voters...
It's all means to an end anyhoo.

And that's a view, not news. It should be in the main Dr.Paul thread, and not here.

you understand that barack obama aggressively went after electing delegates, right?
so you are planning to use the ACORN attack, selectively of course. Its now voter fraud as opposed to procedural issues/gamed counts/playing a better game.

this is why your side gets the whiner rap, its OK when your boy wins but when he loses(which is often) its unfair. Remind me again that he's the Liberty and freedom guy.

This thread has official in the title and asterixes, ergo the other thread is now dead to me.

I'm pretty sure it's already confirmed Paul has the most delegates in Maine. So he won this one too.
02-14-2012 , 10:21 AM
I really don't understand CNN. I am pretty sure it is showing the same vote numbers in Maine as on Saturday night with one seemingly bizarre difference. Today it shows 95% reported and on Saturday it was 84% reporting or something like that. Somehow they got 10% more counted without a single increase in the voting numbers?

Unrelated, anyone have a good link for the full episode of Freedom Watch last night?

Fermion, any idea how the gallup polls always seem different? They had Paul at 8% which is a pretty big difference...

I have no clue. I had the same question myself. Here is the RPF thread on the poll. A couple posters made some guesses as to why.

Nothing ground breaking for those who know Paul, but I don't want to post without a link! I felt like Obama's budget proposal was an absolute insult.

After some last minute signatures just prior to the deadline, Ron Paul has officially made it onto the Pennsylvania ballot. The primary will be held on April 24.

Interview was from today, the 14th. Not to be confused with the previous Wead interview on Maddow last week.
