Re: The Official Mitt's Summer Vacation/Credentializing foreign policy expertise
Wouldn't it be funny if Romney were to immediately follow up his disparaging remarks with something that contradicts what he just said? O WAIT!

edit- "Number one, of course, are the athletes. That's what overwhelmingly the Games are about. Number two are the volunteers. And they'll have great volunteers here. But number three are the people of the country. Do they come together and celebrate the Olympic moment? And that's something which we only find out once the Games actually begin."
Here is the context. Why would you not add on an "And I think they will" at the end. what are you thinking
other two quotes don't seem like a big deal at all to me

Re: The Official Mitt's Summer Vacation/Credentializing foreign policy expertise
Dude, the president of the united states - which he will be if he wins in November - should not be insulting friendly countries before he visits them on a handshake tour regardless of whether he is right or wrong.
His inability to go to Britain and not get insulted by the PM, and on one of the few parts of his past experience he is happy to talk about, is ridiculous. Even Bush managed to avoid that. He also broke protocol on at least one occasion discussing meetings at MI6 in public. If America were like any normal country this would have been a huge disaster, luckily for him you guys live in an isolation bubble of 'merica#1.

He would never insult any important country. Much ado about nothing imo.

I sure hope Mitt doesn't tell any jokes when he gets to Poland. Speaking from "the middle of nowhere", I don't want to get disrespected by any more heads of state.

In what way has "Obama has been so bad to Israel"?
I think the stance on the UN vote on whether palestine should be recognized as a state is one. I've read that romney is really going to go after the jewish voting block. Presidents are usually very pro-Israel and Obama has just been pro-Israel as far as I can tell.

Obama is just as pro-Israel as any President has been except for Carter and possibly Bush Sr. (both less pro-Israel than the others), make no mistake

Our policy towards israel has not really changed. But our policy towards their enemies has been seen as less than stellar. Romney is going after this imo.
