I worked in a grocery warehouse when I was younger, and some of the guys tried to steal a forklift by taking it apart one piece at a time. They eventually got caught before they had all the pieces out.

I want to know this too. We're a 24 hour seven day a week operation, so he couldn't just come when no one was here. Even at 3 AM there's 20 people working.

Lol FoxNews forever and always.

I had never heard of Greta Van Susteren (or forgot if I had), and take it that she is/was a typical Fox news personality, but looking her up and Haiti it seems that while her tweet was wrong, she's not clueless about Haiti.

Wasn't Greta the one who was really smart but pretends to be stupid? Think Stewart did a piece on her once.
10-02-2016 , 04:46 PM
No that's Gretchen Carlson. Greta is closer to the opposite.

I remember the piece you're talking about. It was definitely someone else.

ETA: I think it was Carlson

How well is the concept of panspermia accepted by scientists in relevant fields as an explanation for the origin of life on earth?

It's possible, but there's no evidence of it.

colombia just voted no (50.25% to 49.75%) on a peace deal with farc after having been at war for something like 60 years. can someone explain that to me? it seems possibly even dumber than the brexit vote.
10-02-2016 , 06:51 PM
Why the **** would you ever put something like that up for a referendum?

Seems there were some concessions made to the FARC (...terrorists) - who have been at war with Colombia for decades - that didn't sit well with Colombians.

Maybe the 'no' was a response to the terms, not to peace.

Are you Colombian?

It seems to a least partly be this guy's influence, a popular ex-President whose father was killed by FARC and has been campaigning for 'no'.
10-02-2016 , 10:22 PM
Yeah my Colombian family think the terms are too generous to FARC leaders.

In which Yr. Trolly goes full awice:

Is a Cryptic Tweet by Marla Maples a Clue as to Source Behind Trump Tax Leak?

Quote:
At 1:34 p.m. Sunday, Donald Trump’s second ex-wife, Marla Maples, tweeted a photograph of a pumpkin patch. Does what happened next contain clues that confirm she anonymously mailed Trump’s 1995 tax return to The New York Times?

Maybe, or maybe it’s nothing at all! Please bear with me here...
OK, that was gibberish, but in all seriousness, though (lolbuzzfeed)

Quote:
When Donald Trump publicly floated the idea of running for president in 1999, his ex-wife Marla Maples made it clear she would spill the beans on her ex-husband if he were to make it to the general election.

She was his wife at the time, she did sign the documents. Do we think she's the source of the leak?

That article about the tweet makes no sense at all. I can't even figure out what the theory is supposed to be.
