Sounding off for civil disobedience of all ideologies.

Make signs, make scenes, make sense.

Restore America.

The question we should be asking (and I wish I was being sarcastic here) is what % of those protesters got through middle school?

Because they are clearly a bunch of dumb sh***

Fair enough... I think we saw a poll earlier that 60% of the movement is in their 20's.

Did you find out what the message is yet while down there?

BTW what high school did you go to in Chicago?

I am not sure what the exact demographics. I don't think that matters at all though.

I have been over the message problem with you ad nauseam. The message is economic injustice. We are protesting against a system that does not represent the will of the people.

I did not go to high school in Chicago. I was in the burbs. Community High School District 94 aka West Chicago.

Another similar video.

Every time I hear absolute gutter trash like this, I become more and more a supporter of abortion.

Mike,

At this point I am going to have to draw the line. You have shown not even the slightest bit of civility in these discussions. I will not respond to any of your posts unless you apologize for calling us trash and scum. The abortion comment is out of line.

If you want to discuss with us the issues of the movement I would be more than happy to do so if you're willing to do it with some civility. Until then you should probably just stop replying to my posts.

"Democracy" and "republic" are not mutually exclusive. Democracy can refer to either a direct democracy or a representative system.

"Protesting for economic justice" and "the will of the people" seems like as much of a platitude to me as the Tea Party protesting for "smaller government and lower taxes".

At least with the Tea Party I know what would make the majority of the group happy...lower taxes with no effect on government services that effect their lives and drastic cuts to services that are being wasted on those other people.

The occupy group...no idea. Would reversing the effects of Citizens United and allowing the "will of the people" to be heard be enough? Glass Steagal repeal? Higher top marginal tax rates? Major gains for organized labor? A debt jubilee? The 1% in the guillotine? Revolution? Not sure you'd even have anything close to an answer even city to city. So, to me, the only consensus seems like a bunch of people complaining that **** is ****ed up in this country. Cool, point made.

Are you for or against abortion? If you are for it, then not sure how my comment would be out of line?

It seems to me that this dude being interviewed represents a good portion of this movement, maybe 20% maybe 42% maybe 77%. What percentage I do not know. But I do know a certain % of the movement agrees with this kid 100%.

The kid is literally a brainwashed zombie. And I am HOPING you do not agree with what he says, which is gimeez free learning and everything.

It's one thing to want or believe in economic injustice. it is a whole other thing to say what this kid is saying/
