My friends that got arrested at Occupy protests didn't get charged with anything more than a misdemeanor. Just be sure to follow up with subsequent court appearances, and there is a good chance fines/court fees could run you a few hundred bucks.
If you are serious about participating in civil disobedience, I'd suggest meeting up with other like-minded people prior to the event. There were meetings for ~months prior to Occupy. Those meetings are invaluable because you'll learn a lot, meet other people and build solidarity. For each person that gets arrested, there are at least 2-3 providing support to those people. You really want to know who those support people are. If you're willing to be arrested, people are willing to have your back.
Be sure to use a sharpie and write important phone numbers on your body, because when you do get to use a phone post-arrest, there's a good chance they aren't going to let you use your cell phone to look up a number.
Best of luck.
