Re: Occupy America and the Approaching American Spring

BCPVP has let his true colors show, he has chosen the side of the opressors and the police.
He is obviously not an anarchist, he is just a fascist.

Lawl.

Not swallowing every bit of propaganda the occupy movement puts out = facist.

A tea party group in Virginia is demanding a refund of about $10,000 from the city of Richmond, claiming the group was unfairly charged for rallies while Occupy protesters have used the same space for several weeks for free.
The political organization is sending the city an invoice for the charges incurred for three rallies held in Kanawha Plaza over the past three years.
The Occupy protesters have been camped out at the plaza since Oct. 15.
Richmond Tea Party spokeswoman Colleen Owens said it was not fair that her group had to pay fees for permits, portable toilets, police and emergency personnel. The group also had to purchase a $1 million insurance policy.

Yes, I'm going to take a quote over the actual video evidence while railing against swallowing propaganda. Solid.

I am in class, so I can't re-examine the videos. I will in an hour or so in this thread. If anyone else wants to respond, here are the resources I will use.

I think the last quote from your link says it best:

"What soccer team does he play for."

And I am not a defender of cops.

Seriously, people. Look how slow that scooter is moving. Go find something with two wheels and try to run over something the size of a human leg going that slow.

Apparently to support the occupy movement, you need to ditch all your common sense.

Inconclusive video is clearly inconclusive.

Both sides lose, IMO.

So a scooter moving slowly can't run over a leg but a person is able to stick their leg under a wheel with no problem? Makes complete sense!

FWIW here's the best video I could find: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSgh3vXr4Jc

One of the eyewitnesses said the scooter did bump him and he fell down. Once on the ground, it wouldn't be that hard to stick your leg under the scooter and you can see him do that in CC's latest video angle (around 0:17).

An experiment for you doubters: find a bike (a scooter would be better because of the weight). Lay 3-4" diameter pipe on the ground. Get on the bike try to walk the bike over it as effortlessly as this cop supposedly did.

Re: Occupy America and the Approaching American Spring

lol wow

That's hard but it's super easy to get your leg under the back wheel?

Watch the video I posted. Let's even assume for a second that when you first see him on the ground he is trying to be run over. The cop clearly hits his foot, you can see the bike rock. Then he goes forward and you see the back leg under real wheel, he stops, gets off and leaves it like that.

Now if you see someone on the ground next to you screaming about their foot what do you do? Do you go forward and run over his back leg and then just leave the scooter there while walking away? That doesn't seem like what any person would do without trying.

I'm sure you'll have some excuse though so I'm probably not going to derail anymore.

Re: Occupy America and the Approaching American Spring

At about 0:15 you can see one of his legs in front of the front wheel. He then thrashes around some more and the bike starts to move forward. At 0:22ish the bike is stopped abruptly and we can see his leg against the rear wheel.

Now use your head.

If his leg could stop the bike from moving forward the second time, how would it have not stopped it the first time? Of course, it would have. So he moved his legs out of the way, then stuck them back underneath.

And the best proof of all is from 0:25-0:28. You can see him clearly swing his free right leg into the back wheel in order to make it seem that the bike is somehow trapping it.

Haven't really been keep up with the ZOMG police brutality videos in here but it looks like that IVAW douchebag is going to be OK. Cops should have hit him again.

BCPVP: I looked at the times you mentioned. At 24s it appears you can see his shoe fairly clearly. Looks like I was mistaken.

I even took a screen grab to prove how right you were (from the video I posted).
