did pretty well, nice recovery from where he came in, A- from A due to possibly able to do more with income inequality.

Healthcare B+
knocked down for two things here, one is not pushing single payer, two is horrible control of the narrative. I had this as a B-, but getting the ACA passed despite these two things, has to be a B+

Race relations A
I can see reasons he'd get knocked down, but he did far and away better than i can imagine any other president doing

Overall:
he has a B locked up. Probably B+. Can he get to A-, maybe, but that will take some time to figure out.

I'm probably being far too naive in hoping for an honest discussion on this topic, but, question: what did he do wrong here?

Is Obama saying "if I had a son, he would look like Trayvon Martin" the reason why animosity between whites and blacks is "at all time high" (I feel like slavery, Jim Crow, and the civil rights era might have something to say about that, but okay)? The Trayvon Martin thing was certainly a pretty big event in this department, but I imagine people were pretty pissed off about it for lots of reasons completely unrelated to what Obama said on the subject.

Why is the current state of affairs Obama's fault?

Well, you have to remember that Sosa is a really, really bad poster we mostly ignore due to his low volume.

Republicans need Obama to be graded in a vacuum against nebulous standards in order to muddy the waters of how bad their Presidents have been. Obama did numerous things that I disagreed with, but he is far and away the best President of my lifetime and it's not at all close.
