Love this not just because it's an important conversation to have, but because of how many heads it'll explode from the camp of white middle class self-appointed leading experts on why racism and the pile of ****fulness left in its wake are nonexistent in today's society.

I would support an office to educate all the mouth breathers that think this is racist because it would be racist to have a white education office.

It's racist because it's treating a certain race differently than other races. "African-American office" is by definition racist.

Some people have a very strange definition of what constitutes racism. If establishing this office is 'racist' then I guess I'm just fine with 'racism'.

Obviously people will never agree on the precise definition of the term 'racist'. A more interesting question is why do you find the establishment of this office objectionable?

That is such a red herring and a classic tactic. "Blah blah blah white people couldn't do that, there couldn't be a WHITE entertainment channel blah blah blah." Do I really need to bust out the webster definition of racism for you? Do I really need to explain how there are still people millions alive who remember "whites only" restrooms? So yea, to answer your question, for Bush to have made an office to benefit a race/class of people that has been favored heavily throughout US history and oppressed minorities would probably have been ****ed up. Especially a group of people that has a huge HS and college graduation rate. But it has nothing to do with this discussion. By definition, this office is the exact opposite of racism.

Ok so I'm going to start a business called "White fries" and I'm only going to serve white customers. I guess that won't be racist.
