At any rate, I think the problem is a social one, not a personal problem. Some people will fare better than others and it is partly their own ability and effort that is responsible. Nonetheless, a large population of unemployed, untrained people causes problems for society as well as for those individuals. Spending money on that can be a good investment.
Yup, a long stretch. Despite having acquired an AS and BS and several certs within the last few years. Then got my MS while laid off this last time.
