Re: New Hampshire Primary Sweat Thread

If Paul ends us losing in 2nd by less then 10% that seems like a pretty solid "victory" for him.

Fox projecting Mitt Romney to win at 8pm EST.

Fox also projects Ron Paul to finish second. (and Perry to finish 6th)

LOL Rick Perry. Was polling as the leader when he entered the race. Then he began talking.

Apparently google listened to all the bitching in the Iowa thread and now has total % reporting.

I'm having a really hard time buying the media hype about SC being hugely important. They really want this to be a race and I'm just not seeing it. Mittens has this thing locked up.

Dosen't he have a double digit lead in both SC and FLA?

Somewhere around there, depending on the poll.

IMO if Gingrich, Perry & Huntsman drop out after SC, maybe Santorum comes into play. If Paul continues in the 20's, not sure what happens with him.

Re: New Hampshire Primary Sweat Thread

The South Carolina and Florida polls released since last week's Iowa Caucus have been surprising to me. I didn't think Romney would jump out to a lead in both states

South Carolina
CNN/Time (1/4-5) Romney 37, Santorum 19, Gingrich 18, Paul 12, Perry 5, Huntsman 1

Rasmussen (1/5) Romney 27, Santorum 24, Gingrich 18, Paul 11, Perry 5, Huntsman 2

PPP (1/5-7) Romney 30, Gingrich 23, Santorum 19, Paul 9, Perry 5, Huntsman 4

Florida
Romney 36, Gingrich 24, Santorum 16, Paul 10, Perry 5, Huntsman 2

I heard Ron Paul say earlier today that he's not really campaigning in Flordia because of the advertising cost. That would probably be an issue for all the non-Romney candidates.
