So ignoring whatever the **** happened with this thread, it seems like the story with the case here is that they got super over confident and only charged the dudes with stuff that was a lot harder to make stick because it required a specific intent it wasn't so easy to prove.

I'm not in this forum enough and my memory is hazy, but in my mind I had him lumped together with the racist white posters (and his recent remark about the gov't encouraging black teen pregnancies didn't exactly counteract that).

But my vague memories of past racist posts must be imagined, so I hereby remove you from that category, Wheel.

And I'm aware it's possible for a black person to have a belief I've only ever heard from racist whites, but that awareness doesn't stop me from being surprised. Just like I knew there were some black Trump supporters, but when I met one recently I still had to check if he was real.

The first sentencing for anyone involved in the Bundy Family Good Time Hours occurred yesterday. New Hampshire native and former Trump backer / delegate Jerry Delemus got 7+ years for conspiracy.

I've been following him a little bit, he and his wife have been minor local politicians / major RWNJs. He originally pleaded guilty to the charges, but after the Bundy's walked in Oregon, he tried to change his plea. Judge wasn't having it, and extended his sentence above the 70 months the prosecutors wanted because of it. As good as it is to have this guy guilty of a felony and hopefully away from guns, this seems a little excessive to me.

Depends what his role was but I do agree that more than 2-3 years for anyone who didn't point a gun at officers seems high. Then again our sentences are all out of whack in the US and if these guys weren't a bunch of white goofballs they probably would have had the book thrown at them.

I think he's saying that the Bundy and crew losers were obviously supporting the MAGA agenda, but then again like 99% of the local police and federal agents who spent a month+ camping out were too, so I dunno, maybe he just wants everyone to put our differences aside and proclaim our loyalty to daddy Trump.
