MissileDog won't answer 20 Q's about anarchism.

The late poaster ColbertFan's toxic waste dump of a "anarcho-socialist" (sic) thread just simply needs to die, die, die. I ain't going in there ever again, that's for sure. And kiddies... let ColbertFan's tragic death be a lesson to you... it's simple not safe to downhill ski while drinking alcohol and chewing up your Oxy.

So I'll answer any and all reasonable questions ITT. And if youz guyz insist, I'll include my personal opinion too, as a bonus.

But when we we get to a total of 20 trollish or patently retarded questions... it's /thread. Is that fair enough my BBQ's? If so.... go, go, go!

Re: MissileDog won't answer 20 Q's about anarchism.

1. Why do you hate freedom?
2. Why do you want poor people to suffer?
3. Why do you want black people to suffer the most?
4. Given that you want everyone to live in poverty, what's the best way to end capitalism to make sure that that happens?
5. Why do you support Obama so much?
6. What makes you think you know the best way to control people's lives?
7. What kinda doggy is that in your avatar?

What's the best (reasonably short) introductory reading on anarcho socialism? Preferably something that doesn't misrepresent mainstream economics.

8. How much would we have to bribe you to never again use multi-colored text in your posts?

I'm only going to count this as five trollish questions. If you rephrased #4 without the "are you still beating your wife" preamble, it would actually be a reasonable question. And I'll happily answer #7, even tough it is off topic.

My little doggie, who earned the title of The Missile, was a Boston Terrier. In fact, she was a very rare brown-and-while Boston, with almost perfect markings... according to the interwebs 1 in several thousands. But her personality and intelligence were clearly 1 in several millions. She was a good little dog.

OK, 15 more to go, go, go...

This is off-topic too. But since I am certainly willing to accept bribes, it isn't trollish or retarded. IDK, what are you willing to offer?

This is a good question. But let me clarify a few things first.
  • Nobody ever uses the term "Anarcho-Socialism"... because it's a completely meaningless redundancy. This is because anarchism is a subset of socialism in general (in the small "s" sense of the word "socialism").
  • Economics doesn't really have anything to do with anarchism at all.

To answer the question, TBH I really don't know what makes a good beginners primer. People often point to Alexander Berkman's ABC of anarchism, written in 1929 (full text). The contemporary Crimethinc collective wrote Figthing for our Lifes (pdf). I haven't actually read either one, but the authors credentials in both cases are impeccable.

Re: MissileDog won't answer 20 Q's about anarchism.

If you, at some point later in life became convinced that you had for most of your life been completely wrong about politics/capitalism/anarcho-socialism, to what degree would you then consider your life wasted?

IOW how much of your identity/life do you have invested in being right on political issues?

Do you think you could pass an ideological Turing test?

Re: MissileDog won't answer 20 Q's about anarchism.

Were you aware of CrimethInc's participation in a write in campaign to have Ted Kaczynski, AKA the "Unabomber" elected POTUS during the 1996 election?

What opinions do you have of CrimethInc? Are you familiar with them at all?

Do you think "shock value" campaigns such as this help or hurt your cause?

Do you have any feelings or opinions related to Ted Kaczynski? As I've understood in my training from "The other side of the wall" if you will, Kaczynski is a bit of a folk hero to many anarchists, though only a small percentage agree with his methods.

Re: MissileDog won't answer 20 Q's about anarchism.

1) Will the Gulags have TV cable?
2) Which curve do you hate most? Supply or Demand?
3) Trotsky or Stalin?
4) If you had to kick out 4 states from USA which states would you kick out?
5) Will there be reality TV shows on anarchism?
6) In anarchism, in a football game do the 11 players get to vote on the play? Wont that lead to 5 yard penalties all the time?
