Ok, fire the bottom 80 percent and pay the remaining 20% twice as much. Outfit them like British cops, i.e. generally w/o guns.

There's a joke that goes like, in heaven the cops are English, the cooks are Italian and the engineers are German. In hell the cops are German, the cooks are English and the engineers are Italians.

I don't think that joke's really fair to Italian engineers though. And nowadays you should probably make the cops in hell American.

That's totally fair to Italian engineers.

The cops have in hell should be American only if you're black.

Just saw Logan. Didnt really rate it. It's been given a dark, dreary coat of paint in an effort to make it more serious or whatever, but underneath it's composed entirely of cliches and done to death dramatic themes. I ended up rolling my eyes at its self importance. It's a well made film and not "bad" or anything, but when it's neither fun to watch nor has anything interesting to say, it leaves me wondering what the point is.

It is called super-resolution. Then combined with a facial recognition database as every major corporation and government agency possesses, it can be used to great effect.

It was recovering sound from video without sound, which is pretty awesome. This was also done in 2014, before many advances in deep neural networks.

Sound and picture don't match. The visual at 1:19 repeats at 1:52. Just something I couldn't help noticing. It's very cool though and the toddlers on the step and the cat are cute.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if the old newsreels got edited weird or some of the film was ruined and they had to cover up for it.

Tell your daughter that I am hurt but I am a strong confident woman and I will rebuild.
