Me too... is he the only person willing to confront the truth?

From his UN speech:

"...the dignity, integrity and rights of the American and European people are being played with by a small but deceitful number of people called Zionists. (Protocols 13, 14) Although they are a minuscule minority they have been dominating an important portion of the financial and monetary centers (Protocols 21,22) as well as the political decision making centers of some European countries and the US in a deceitful, complex and furtive manner."

Ahmadinejad actually has relatively little power in Iran. The vast majority of power is held by the supreme council and more specifically the leader of the supreme council, Ali Khamenei.

How is that confronting the truth? Isn't that more like preaching to a bigoted choir? Any reference to the Protocols essentially forfeits his right to speak and be taken seriously.

Well he didn't actually reference the Protocols in his speech to the UN, that was my addition to the speech (figured I would cite it for him because it is the exact same rhetoric).

If Ahmadinejad and people like him got exactly what they want then who would they blame the world's and their own problems on?

He asked the same questions as past reporters have. He was interviewed multiple times by bryan williams (brian something) and I wonder why these guys dont ask deeper questions. He always dodges the holocaust question by asking why further investigating of the events isnt done. I'm waiting for one of these dumb reporters to ask him what he means by that. Ask him , WTF do you want done as far as further investigating? He gets the same exact question and gives the same exact answer. Hes been interviewed by US reporters atleast 5 times and it would be nice if they inquired further instead of treating him like a talking monkey.

He did mention a fairly recent NAM non aligned movement meeting in Iran. There basically the nobody countries but they represent half the global population not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc. The IAEA published a letter sent from that meeting signed by almost all members in support of Irans right to a nuclear fuel cycle.

He did get to brag alittle too actually because no matter how many news clips you hear about Iran violating the UN the fact is there has never been any other country in the history of the IAEA inspections that has granted as much access to sites and data as Iran has.
