Liberal bias leads to nationwide crime increases Liberal bias leads to nationwide crime increases

Somehow black's income growth keeps going up in all this hopelessness. lolau4all

Given that, black wealth still isn't great. But it's incredibly foolish to paint the picture of hopelessness when African Americans are achieving all around at a greater rate than ever.

So if I show a picture of a nice house in Berkley or Aspen, does that mean liberals win? Wtf kind of horse**** argument is that. Take that idiocy back to FreeRepublic.

I guess by "one rabbit hole after another" he means people expect him to make some sort of coherent point about... well, anything.

Had no idea that abandoned buildings were strictly a Democratic voter thing. I've seen some really run-down, poverty stricken areas all over the deep south, Appalachia, Texas and Idaho. Must be some well hidden pockets of liberalism in those parts.

Austin and Chapel Hill

Austin is a prime example of liberalism destroying a city. It's practically third world down there.
06-30-2015 , 06:50 PM
It does have run down parts to it like any city.

It really doesn't for a city its size.

I didn't ask the original question, so I'm afraid your answer does not address my question.

I asked why do you think that crime is increasing when in actuality it's continuing to plummet to it's lowest level in decades?

He gets his news from the 2015 equivalent of Ron Paul newsletters.

Vacant homes in solid red Appalachian mountains don't even get for sale signs.

Look at the graphs I posted. For some reason, more black people are ending up in jail compared to white people, and many of them are uneducated.

Poverty is the main cause of crime. The main cause of the poverty is a lack of education, economic growth, business, entrepreneurship, and jobs in big cities.

Whatever the absolute numbers the crime rate is much higher among the poor. That's why I brought up the topic of poverty which sadly no one else seems to care about. Everyone wants to blame the high incarceration rate about blacks on racism, and that means that nothing is done about the real problems of the poor.

Your attitude about the poor is Who Cares?!

These are neighborhoods that used to be upper middle class and prosperous. This is the not the Appalachian mountains.

This is the way it used to look:

Flint started with humble beginnings in 1819 as a trading post and later became known as a “carriage” town which soon grew into the birthplace of the automobile. Wherever you look in the downtown Flint area, you’ll be reminded of the leaders who built the automotive industry including Charles Stewart Mott, Alfred P. Sloan, William C. Durant, J. Dallas Dort and others. From historical homes to museums to art collections and estates, you’ll learn how these influential leaders shaped our community.

I don't thinking that jumping straight from the 1950's to 2015 and saying 'SEE?' and leaving every step that lead from one to the other unexamined is a very good argument.

ikes manages to embarrass himself every time he tries to talk about the causes of decline in Detroit and other rust belt cities, and ikes is much smarter than you. You have no idea what you're talking about on this subject.

Thankfully, it is something that has been closely studied for decades and the causes are well understood, so you do have the option of educating yourself if you so choose. Spoiler: It has very little to do with the liberal boogie men you're ranting about, and quite a bit to do with the pro-business profit-maximizing you advocate.

Right.

So more black people are going to jail even though crime is down. Why do you think that may be?
