Anyone have any clue what Valls is up to? He came out this morning and said he wanted to be "part of the presidential majority and signed up in En Marche", but that he'd also stay in the Socialist Party, which he said was dead.

However, it seems he hasn't signed up with En Marche, that they've already chosen someone else in his constituency and had already announced yesterday afternoon that their deputies wouldn't be able to be part of another political party. Since then the PS has said they'd throw him out anyway.

Surely he has enough clout left to actually talk to people in EM and work out how to get involved properly. It seems like just spouting off in interviews might see him outside both camps and not even re-elected. Can he have a plan, or is he just useless?
