Don't get me wrong, I get the whole "they captured him alive" angle, but at what cost?

What are the chances this 77 year old woman died while they're standing around with their thumbs up their asses coming up with this brilliant plan to throw big firecrackers at the kid then make a dog bite him?

I'm all for using non-lethal means to stop somebody. I'm just wondering how the decisions in the two cases were made? Shoot the kid with the butter knife (?) and sick the dog on the kid with the sword? Seems backwards...

Well, it's two different departments..

Yeah, I'm obv not a gung-ho, shoot em dead kind of guy or anything, but I dont think I'd have had much problem with more lethal force being used in this situation, especially if there is concern that there is someone hurt but possibly alive, and the guy is using deadly weapons and has already demonstrated he is gonna use them. If this is some autistic rage thing, and he isnt "competent," well, that is very sad, and sure if you can avoid hurting him thats gravy, but real lives are at risk.

The other story is ****ing terrible and could easily have been avoided.

Without going into detail, no lives were at risk.

Yea, I hate that ****, trying to control the meth ingredients doesnt work, and I'm actually highly in favor of legislation that actually works to stop meth labs, and not for the reasons you think.

It's not because I think meth is some "devil drug" or whatever, it's simply because I've been shown time and time again that meth users are on the whole too ****ing stupid to make the **** and have blown up more ****, more cops, firemen and small children than any other group of drug users, and are just flat ****ing retarded.

That's why I strongly support the legalization of all drugs, including meth, in the hopes that trained professionals can make it.

I am of the opinion that Bubba from the trailer park with his 6th grade education should not be allowed to mix flammable/explosive/Corrosive/acidic chemicals.

I'm unconcerned entirely with how he ingests those chemicals when he's finished.

When his trailer blows up, and a rescue worker dies, it's not just "his body, his choice" anymore.

Not to mention that all the kids in the neighboring trailers are getting exposed to hazardous chemicals

I was using "trailer park" for dramatic effect, in reality it's becoming more and more common in apartments which is obviously 10x worse, because in that environment neighborhood kids can still be ingesting the odors even if there is never an accident.

And obviously any explosion in an apartment is worse than one in a trailer or a house.
