I didn't make anything up. I told you what happened. So you wouldn't be upset sitting in traffic for an hour to find out cops are just sitting eating donuts and making zero effort to finish whatever it was they were doing?

I'm going to guess that the cops weren't eating doughnuts for an hour, and no I generally don't get upset if people take a break during work.

Dude you are in a thread with a link to a story two posts above your last one where a cop shoots a little girl while aming for the family dog. You are bitching about being inconvenienced because some cops were taking a break.

The cops almost certainly weren't even the ones doing whatever work was going on. There was probably some sort of road or utility maintenance issue and the cops just had the area blocked off until a repair crew could arrive. Or, maybe they just really like eating donuts at that particular spot in the middle of the road. You know, the simplest explanation is usually the correct one, right?

I see stuff like this all the time though. 5 cops standing around during road construction doing nothing. Getting paid 50 dollars an hour to stand there texting.

Seriously, people are getting murdered in the streets, people who just asked more medical attention are having their children shot, and you're sitting her all huffy puffy because some police helped with traffic control or something in a construction site and you had to wait 3 minutes longer on your drive. This is why people are laughing at you.

Here is a clue, sometimes it's the cops job to just park on the street and turn on their light and then do nothing so construction crews can setup for a job in safety.

How do you know they were being lazy and sitting there with the lights on to warn folks of the construction wasn't their actual job? I see police with construction crews all the time. What should they fill that time with?

Or maybe the street was blocked because of a terrible wreck, the police had been on the scene for hours, they couldn't unblock the street until the investigation was complete, and someone brought donuts because they'd missed lunch.

Yes there are a lot of reasons it could be perfectly reasonable.

It's like folks that get mad cause they saw city workers taking a break at some point during the day as they drove by. People get breaks brah.

Since everyone in this thread is on their period I'll get it back on topic.

A friend of mine went to sheriff's office for a lecture. On white board at office the cops had this man's website written down. As everybody left the cops searched all their phones and they had to delete photos(not just my friend but everybody) Upon research the man from website had an altercation documented in this video on his youtube channel with LAPD on Halloween 2013. Video starts to get interesting around 3:00.
