That's Machu Picchu. The Sacred Valley is along the train ride from Cuzco to Machu Picchu. I haven't gone through those pics. I really liked the area because it looked a lot like what I pictured Peru looking like before I came - mud brick houses, lots of locals in brightly colored garb and those funny hats, beautiful scenery.

The results for malpractice court battles aren't really associated with how badly a doctor messed up, but how negative the outcome was.

So if someone causes millions of dollars in damages (through medical malpractice or some other tort) then what should happen

Re: June LC thread
Clinton says extend the Bush tax cuts for a year. Way to forward thinking for this government. I suspect we will get a two month extension.

Re: June LC thread
The funny thing related to that post is that in early 2007 I thought a billion dollars was a ridiculous amount of money. Now its like "a billion here, a billion there, I guess they add up to big money eventually".
Am I the only one whose view of big numbers of money has completely changed since the recession?

I agree. I hear news commentators confuse billion and trillion with some regularity. We even have the beloved Dvault doing his best to minimize "trillion."
It's mind boggling to me. (Inb4 how easily my mind is boggled.)
