Nothing quite so helpful for packing to move as completely immobilizing back pain. Would recommend

Enjoyable read, brings back memories. Scott Skiles was the guard from hell.

One if the proudest moments of my youth was beating the guy with the machine high score with a 3/4 court buzzer beater.

The ultimate form of hedonism for my brother and I when we were 12 or whatever was scraping together $5 or something and riding our bikes to a local pizza place that had an NBA Jam machine and playing for an hour.

States have attacked customer owned solar for sure. Nevada recently killed it with these kind of rules and pretty much all the installation companies quit the state or went out of business.

Another big threat to solar at the moment is this trade dispute and lawsuit which is trying to set a floor price on solar modules:

Sigh Virginia. KKK rally in defense of a Lee statue that's scheduled to be removed. Protesters of KKK presence vastly outnumbers KKK, who require police escorts from their car to the statue and back.

Oh, and this.

Quote:
According to*CBS News, multiple female journalists have reported that they’ve been turned away from the speaker’s lobby because of*their bare shoulders — a policy not shared by either the Senate or the White House.

The dress code was enforced in May, when, according to the report,*Independent Journal Review‘s Haley Byrd was kicked out of the lobby due to violating the rule.

“When I was kicked out that day, I was just trying to pass through the area to reach another hallway, but I was told I was violating the rules. They offered to find a sweater for me to put on, so it wasn’t some tyrannical end of free press, but I opted to just go around instead. But recently they’ve been cracking down on the code, like with open-toed shoes,” she*told CBS News. “I suspect the rules are being emphasized now that it’s summertime and excruciatingly hot outside and everyone is dressing for the weather.”

I wish I had a pair of sandals/flip flops or something. I'm about to go to a pool party.

You live in Cali and you don't own a pair of sandals? Wtf? That's like me not owning a toque.

And I live walking distance to the beach. If it helps, between my wife and the daughters there must be a thousand pairs of sandals in my house.

I'm scared to read it. Most of what's been out lately is that the bad end of projections is what's happening and the US is definitely not heading in the right direction now.

I talk politics a lot with my kids, especially the 17 year old, but this is not something I really bring up. "It will probably be ok for you when you are my age, but for half the planet it'll be rough" isn't a great prognosis for your children.
