The ultimate form of hedonism for my brother and I when we were 12 or whatever was scraping together $5 or something and riding our bikes to a local pizza place that had an NBA Jam machine and playing for an hour.

I'm scared to read it. Most of what's been out lately is that the bad end of projections is what's happening and the US is definitely not heading in the right direction now.

I talk politics a lot with my kids, especially the 17 year old, but this is not something I really bring up. "It will probably be ok for you when you are my age, but for half the planet it'll be rough" isn't a great prognosis for your children.
