Quotes from "an unknown American" are always good signs for accurate details in the rest of the email. Frankly im surprised they didnt just attribute the made up quote to George Washington.

I'm pretty sure in this case that "unknown American" is Leaves of Liberty.

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.
The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan". All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A.... (substituting grades for dollars - something closer to home and more readily understood by all).

If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. If they build a business and become successful, good for them! The current system rewards them for continuing to make bad choices and its not acceptable and will be strictly monitered.

You want health care for you and your kids? Cobra health care coverage is $350 PER WEEK! You better sign up for picking up trash on the highways, shoveling government housing, tending to the elderly, cutting the grass, painting, repaving the roads, and anything else we can find for you!!!

AND While you are on Gov't subsistence, you no longer can VOTE! Yes, that is correct. No more bottom feeders are allowed to Vote!!! For you to vote would be a conflict of interest. You will voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Gov't welfare check. If you want to vote, then get a job!!

The "majority" vote will no longer be the bottom feeders, thats for sure!

Forcing baby boomers who dont have jobs and are retired to not be able to vote seems like a decent idea.

I didn't see any mention of race anywhere in the post.

I rarely get any chain e-mails, but I just happen to receive this one recently from our old company accountant of 5 or 6 years ago. It's pretty terrible. I'll bold all the parts that are bolded in the e-mail for accuracy.

Scary that my family still sends and receives these all the time. They're just stopped asking me if they're true because I always link to snopes and kill their fun.

my uncle always forward them to me with some caveat like "from the other side" or "since i know they don't put this in the times" now that i've sent him like 15 differnet snopes links.

i swear for some of these people that being a bigot is like a full time job. they must spend all day doing this ****.

I guess I should know your view on politics but have NO idea. I do not mean to step on your toes. I have strong feelings about this guy but I'm willing to listen to someone elses ideas.
I am republican, I guess by birth. That said, I vote for the person, not the party.
We have to do something about our government. Don't kno what or how but they are all in bed with big business and only need you and me to pay their bills!! I am discussed with all of them, top to bottom!!

It wasn't Jen that sent the link. It was me, Matt. I do not mind your views, though they are different then mine. I was just sending it to you to use as a reference. The site sent is fair to both sides of the political spectrum. It is awesome that you take an active interest in our government. I wish everyone did, whether their views are the same as mine or not.
