The Inaugural David Sklansky LSAT Open Invitational The Inaugural David Sklansky LSAT Open Invitational

cliffs: David Sklansky believes he is top nerd in this forum and has issued an open challenge for real money bets. I am very interested in following this type of competition and clicking on all the ads every time i check in on the thread.

I once saw an ad encouraging people to sign up for Obamaphones. I seriously hope a couple of pennies of David and Mason's tax money ends up buying someone a phone out of it.

Two hurdles for this: raising the $5-10k I think we'll need to get DS interested and finding a candidate. So far I think it's Bobman and a couple noobs have expressed interest.

I'm legitimately not very smart and I got a 164. I seriously doubt DS would beat that.

This is helpful

Are we talking about scores already achieved or re/taking the test now?

new tests of course.

bets should always be on future events. betting on the past is just stealing from dumb people.

Going to be funny when David angles all of you

The LSAT bet is only open to people who have claimed here that I don't think well. No ringers. Unless you want to change it to the math SAT. For that any Politics regular is OK. Especially if they have a Phd in math or physics. Don't forget I have only one year of college and am 69 years old. It should be free money

I am willing to wager SEVENTY THREE DOLLARS that I can't score in the 90th percentile on the LSAT.
06-22-2017 , 11:44 PM
Snap in for math SAT although honestly I'd expect many of those contests to tie at 800
06-22-2017 , 11:44 PM
I'm curious to see if DS makes more money on this than AWice did on the election bets, or if he makes a lot more.

Recently been thinking about maybe going to law school a few years down the road. Losing money and shaming my family just might be the kick to realize that law school is an even worse idea than I already know it is.

I believe I've expressed a lol or two over the years at Sklansky.

I nominate Mr. Wookie!

Just a reminder that I issued this challenge in a moment of irritation after people jumped on me when I offered the perfectly reasonable opinion that the Ukranian president's effusive praise of Trump is the kind of thing that could throw a monkey wrench in the anti Trump movement. Because I unwittingly sent people to Breitbart to watch the video. They disparaged my "critical thinking" skills even though way fewer than one in ten thousand could equal my standardized test scores (given less than the normally allotted time) when I was in high school. I admit I don't deserve much credit for this since it was all genetic, from a father whose IQ was off the charts. But I had a weak moment when the criticisms of my thinking ability became ridiculous. I don't think many of you have have written fourteen books (three on Amazon's top 100 at the same time) and patented three games, all of which depended on thinking ability. Or got perfect scores on both the math and science sections on the National Merit Scholarship exam.

But maybe I underestimating what age has done to my mind. I'm assuming I have lost about 60%. If its 90% some of you may have a chance.

Can you explain more about how you unwittingly sent a breitbart link? Did you happen to be on breitbart and not notice? Did you randomly right click somewhere on your screen and select 'copy link' without having any clue what the link was to? Were you surprised that the content of the link, by pure coincidence, happened to pertain to the post you made?

Do tell.

ASVAB all the way. It's free.

If someone has a phd in math or physics, wouldn't getting a perfect score on the SAT math test be trivially easy?

I'll do $10K if I can use my old score. I'm assuming the format is the same as when I took it.

DS, if interested let me know and we can discuss terms.

i don't think david was bragging that he could "break" the lsat or guaranteed a perfect score, it was more of a petty kind of personal challenge between him and the small but vocal minority of politics regs who occasionally criticize his political ideas.

and you don't want to compare old scores with david. young david sklansky had perfect scores on intelligence exams, he was the perfect man; extremely christlike, with unexplained almost supernatural abilities, especially math.
