Im pretty sure this is how things would go down in an actual AC society. They claim that unpopular laws would be more costly to enforce, I don't see why this subjectivity wouldn't also effect the equitable enforcement of social norms(ie AC laws) for different individuals. So Mark got drunk and ran over Larry on his way home from the bar, but Larry was fat and smelly and we think he had herpes and no one liked him. Does anyone really want to shoulder the cost of prosecuting Mark?

There was an earthquake in Cambodia.
So i flew down there to the most disaster ridden,and sign 10 people to
"Standard 10 Years voluntary slavery contract" that we as both parties agree upon.
They now work my Tobacco fields in exchange for 3 meals a day and a roof over their heads.

Update: 1 years has passed.

Two of my slaves, Chhean Que we call him George,Mealea Que had fell in love and had a son we call him little Mikey.

Mikey is a free man unbound to his parents slavery contracts and I'm showing great generosity by allowing him to remain on my property.

Update: 5 years have passed

George was caught stealing food from the kitchen.
After careful reading of "Standard 10 Years voluntary slavery contract" it was discovered the the mutual agreed punishment for stealing form the employer is death by hanging.Which was swiftly executed this morning.btw not sure if George knew English when he signed the contract.

Mealea's constant crying annoyed the living hell out of me so i sold her contract to a brothel in the neighboring town.

Raising little Mikey proved to be a drain on my household,so i removed him from my property.
He is now wandering the streets of Pedoville alone and hungry.But I'm sure he'll find some work soon that matching his qualifications as 6 year old.
