I have a fairly diverse group of friends politically, they all hate trump...commie and libertarian and everything in between.

Just think trump is a unifying factor and will be more and more. Elections will tell the tale i guess.

I see what you're saying about Trump being a common enemy, and something that people can agree or come together on.

I just don't know if having a common enemy makes American society better. I tend to think it does not.

It would be better if trumps not in the white house. If thats whats in common i dont see how it could be bad.

Hell, just look at this board. With the exception of a few DJT/Russian shills, youv'e got posters who never agree on anything all agreeing in the Presidence of DJT thread.

He saves the government money in terms of consulting fees by Trump making all the decisions himself instead of highly qualified/intelligent individuals advising him of what to do

He's better at acting like a 7 year-old.

By removing health care from a large number of people, Trump and Co will make America run more efficiently by not having to worry about the needs of 'people', since most of them will be dead.

It's eerily funny how the state sponsors of terror that Trump spoke to (edit: I mean idolized and enjoyed the company of) in Saudi Arabia view terrorism as a form of population control.

Trumpublicans committing the worst gangrape of the American people in history and you are concerned about the attitude of the victims. A+ post.

Smug is a pretty important word for the right though, despite smug bastards like Trump being their king. Also elite, despite being the party of the elite. Also self-righteous, despite being the party of the religious self-righteous.

Question, is there a conservative here that sincerely thinks Trump is a better president who would like to explain specifically how?
05-25-2017 , 01:34 AM
Is Trump telling a president who literally kills drug dealers and users personally where two of our nuclear subs are better or worse than Obama NOT telling that guy things like that?

Gimmick troll's post does make you wonder if that's the best they've got.

I would love to see Trumptards list the 5 worst things Dems have done since inauguration vs the 5 worst things GOP has done since inauguration. Should be good for some real laughs. And speaking of laughs, Republicans might even learn something after they see the massive contrast.

hes the best 2a president we've had maybe ever. Hes actively working on repealing gun control laws.

he also shut down tpp which is almost an objectively good thing

and its early in Trumps presidency but hes doesn't seem to be a warmonger in the ME. The blackest mark of Obama's presidency to me is the intervention in Libya. The country right now is a hell hole and its almost entirely the US's fault.

Shoulda just left peaceful ol' Gaddafi in charge.
05-29-2017 , 02:56 PM
is saddam a good person

we still shouldnt' of went in to iraq
05-29-2017 , 03:18 PM
Not a warmonger because he doesn't know how to run a war. The guy couldn't get a single operation done without getting one of his soldiers killed.

The US has added troops on the ground in Syria and Yemen. I can maybe support some of the US involvement in Syria, but Yemen is awful. We're not just making the mistake of Libya which was making things worse while trying to make them better, we're just on the side of evil.

Obama was doing it too, but Trump has increased our direct involvement.
