No, the other one. But it won't happen, obviously.

You know how Oscar Wilde's last words were 'Either that wallpaper goes or I do'?

And you know how that ended.

Either the Second Amendment goes or America does. And the Second Amendment won't go.

There will be when peoples mothers & fathers fall into bankruptcy and then death with the new bill.

Honestly I think there will be a new form of domestic terrorism from it, bombings and all. Which will make matters a million times worse. Kinda scary really.

Non-graphic video that basically just captures the sounds of shots fired. Many more shots than I imagined.

You know the Loretta lynch quote was completely fabricated right?

And Tim Kaine's quote doesn't suggest any violence at all. Stop all the ball bearings rattling around in your skull.

Yeah unfortunately I suspect things will only proceed to get much worse as there is no competency in the Whitehouse nor Congress to actually improve the direction things are headed.

It's pretty bleak. And yeah congress approving a death sentence health care bill is not going to earn them a ton of empathy when people eventually snap. It is all a pretty horrible spiral and is exactly the kind of thing you need a president who has any competence at all. However he instead is one of the biggest detrimental factors to this destructive spiral and anything he says or does will only make it worse.

How many heavily armed Americans are talking about how much they hate the left today?
06-14-2017 , 03:16 PM
A truly competent President would veto this bill.

Start demilitarizing our police forces then we can talk about adjustments to 2A.

Conservatives took MLK from us with violence and now they want to throw in our face the idea that he was a magical mystical nonviolent super person who changed the world through nonviolence and peace and love.

I'm surprised that nobody in the media has been gunned down when you consider the media is "the enemy of the American people" as Trump would say. The rhetoric powered by people like Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Hannity and others is on such a pinheaded level that nothing would surprise me now. Don't these folks ever look in the mirror and realize that they might be part of the problem?

This is the kind of stuff that amazes me by the gun lobby. I am an actual gun owner but I support almost all of the proposed changes to limit the types of devices and accessories available and how.

The very idea that part of congress was spending time on working on deregulating gun silencers is grotesque to me.

The SF workplace shooting reminded me of a shooting like thirty years ago at my parent's business. A disgruntled independent truck driver showed up and killed five people and wounded many more (one fellow had like seven bullets in him but survived). The guy then was killed by police.

It was devastating obviously but the thing people might miss are the ripple effects such incidents could have. This particular incident had long lasting effects that stemmed from the shootings that went beyond just dealing with death and lost of a loved one.

It's depressing these shootings are so common place now that it is barely news.

On another note outside of any specific political agenda there is obviously a significant level of uneasiness bubbling up that will increase the likelihood of incidents similar to both of these we saw. It sucks. But what are we to do when the guiding principle of the United States is now hate, hate and more hate.

Not saying I want anyone to die, but I'd get a pretty big kick if there were be some glitch that caused Scalise best health insurance on the planet to lapse today and his ER and ICU bills force him into bankruptcy.
