It's not like no one cares or everyone trusts the justice system when there's incidents between the cops and a white person it's just that then there would be at most a fairly uncontroversial mention rather that this type of thread. No doubt there are discussion on the general issue of policing as well.
One really good thing about focusing on the racist incidents (apart from how serious the racism is in itself) is that the solutions apply generally and have more traction. If we get cameras because some cops don't want to be falsely accused of racism or because the system wants the cops not to be accused of racism then that's a great result for everyone who has problems with bad cops and it's a great result for good cops.
