Yeah, I mean, ****in' inflation, how does it work?

But more poignantly, Reagan ran a massive deficit during a boom time. That Obama runs a deficit during the worst recession in two generations is only a soft criticism, esp. since many of the shortfalls are coming as a result of continuing the policies of his predecessor instead of, say, raising taxes, ending Medicare Part D, and pulling out of Afghanistan and Iraq much more rapidly than any Republican would deem healthy.

Looks like W and Obama could have taught Ronnie a thing or two.

The right man won.
05-17-2012 , 11:28 AM
all of these votes are going to be rigged as hell.
05-17-2012 , 11:54 AM
lol @ rigged. The contest is completely fair and open. It's a public ballot, for pete's sake. It's also completely meaningless, so you don't have to get your panties in a bunch.

Mets admits he doesn't have 100 politics posts and he wasn't thrown out. I probably didn't have 100 politics posts when the election started. My vote wasn't thrown out.

Granted that we have 105k 2p2 posts between us, so we're not gimmicks. But the rules say 100 politics posts and they weren't followed for me or mets.

How careful are you guys with the rules, then?
05-17-2012 , 04:36 PM
Wait, are you complaining that your votes WERE counted?
05-17-2012 , 04:57 PM
I'm saying that the rules say one thing and they were ignored for at least two posters. How can we be sure they were enforced for all posters?
05-17-2012 , 05:07 PM
I attempted to apply 'reaganomics' to my personal finances. Ended up with the f bailiffs round

so. Everyone who posts here enough knows you're just laying out a line. And no one really takes any poll/matchup too seriously here. now sheep though is an entirely different kettle of fish
05-17-2012 , 05:56 PM
Sheep is serious business.

Oh yeah, that reminds me. I was thinking about doing an R. Money Sheep. We did one for Obama. I should be fair and balanced, and the timing seems pretty good now that he's about to officially hit the delegate number.

mets has well over 100 posts. You had 99 at the time of counting, but I gave you the benefit of the doubt of having a single politics post in the archive.

Plus the # of good sheep jokes for R Money has doubled in the 3 months

I'm open to suggestions on questions if people want to PM me.
05-17-2012 , 09:06 PM
I used to think 2p2 posters on average were pretty smart. Carter>Reagan poll makes me think this no longer. WTF
